Hi JB, I removed a bit of the high rise pegs under the pit, and it sits a bit more level now. I barely have an 8th of an inch clearance but it works. Let me know what you think.

Hi Tom, Happy Holidays!! I used Tamiya X-14 and lightened it up by adding Tamiya X-2 until I reached the color that was close enough to the original.

Hi everyone, hope everyone is having a Happy Holidays. I started out by removing all the original chrome by soaking in bleach. Then cleaned up all the parts and rechromed everything. Finished up the engines today. Here are a few pics so far. Hi Scott, this is a curbside type model with very little engine details. The kit comes with two vac window sets and photo-etched parts. I did have to paint on the orange because I didnt want to take a chance with the decals. I also used practra pin striping for the edges of the orange which worked very well to conform to the bends. I coated the entire body with future floor shine which worked very nicely. The glass was also attached with future, I had to tape it down while it dried over night. This is the Fujimi kit.

Hi, I didnt want to take a chance with the decals, so I painted the orange on,also the black trimmer was a decal but worked very nicely from Practra, you get different sizes on a roll in a plastic tube, neat stuff. God bless,and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Thank you Tom, This was an older kit and I had to paint some of the decals on. The front decals were painted on, along with the two rear quarters. You have to work the roundels out but they will go down with a mild solvent, I used micro sol. Everything fits beautifully. I used floquil old silver for the base coat which is getting harder to find now-a-days. Steve Cook
