  1. I have been looking for a good baja kit. I will be watching this build.
  2. Heres a bit of an update on this... I built some bumpers... they turned out pretty good.... I tried to copy the TrailTough 1:1 bumpers and I think they are pretty close.... There are a few differences, but this is close enough for me. Gonna call this one finished. It is curbside, so no engine pics
  3. Nothing like a big 'ole lifted FORD. Looks great... Watching....
  4. Plus everything that has been said already. Very nice and clean build.
  5. They are So-Real Boggers (you can find them on E-Bay sometimes). A lot of the resin Boggers are molded after them. I have had these a while. B-n-L had the inner rims to make everything fit right (kit rims inside the bead-locks)
  6. Nice build. Monster trucks are what I grew up on. They have changed a bunch since the days of Bigfoot I.
  7. Here is where Im at now.... I got some solid styrene rod which I will use to make some bumpers and a "snatch" T-case cradle (yes thats the actual name of it, I have one on my 87 Samurai) Here is my main inspiration for this build.... It doesnt have Boggers on it (I do have a Ranger with Boggers though).... Thanks for looking...Mark
  8. Here is the rest..... I had the So-Real Boggers so on it they went. Some trimming is in order.... Here it is with the stock kit tires....
  9. I got this kit a little bit ago, and 1:1 Samurais are kinda my thing right now, so here goes.... Start.... Since I can leave well enough alone, I had to mod it to be a trail runner... I had to cut the axles off the springs (they are molded as one piece). The T-Case and drive shafts had to come apart as well.
  10. I have been taking a break from my Ice T mudder project and did this one. Its the AMT 66 Nova.... Not my favorite build. It has turned out O.K. at best, and I still have a little to do on it. Not a lot of detailing on this one
  11. Very nice build. It just looks right.
  12. Nice work. It looks great.
  13. Nice build. Love the 69's.
  14. Love this build. Look perfect. Nice work..
  15. Nice weathering. That looks great.
  16. Here is another update (small one though)... I got my hydraulic steering set up and plumbed.... You can see the radiator I plan on using and the fan that goes with it... I have the motor "plumbed" as well.... I have really been enjoying this build, I have been adding a lot more detail with this one. You guys are a bad, bad habit (but I like it). Thanks for looking
  17. Very nice work....
  18. Very nice detail work there. Keep up with the updates.
  19. Here's my first try at it..... This was an attempt to match a 1:1 car I had in High School (yes it matches the actual car I had).
  20. I always wanted a Ghia. gonna have to look around and find me a model of one after seeing yours. Nice build.
  21. Nice start on this one. Keep at it. Looking for updates.
  22. Looks great. You have a good start. Keep posting your work.
  23. Here is an update on my progress. I have been waiting on a few parts to come in. Im gonna use a set of B-N-L RockWell axles... I tried my hand a wiring an engine (this is my first try)... I think it came out pretty good. I will add some radiator hoses and Im looking for an old kit radiator to plumb in (I will mount it in the back of the buggy. Thanks for looking and comments and advice are always welcome. Mark
