  1. That is great. Nice build.
  2. That bottom truck is sweet. ive been looking for the 73-75 FORDs (the grill is different on them, no bezel around the round headlights. I know this cause I had a 73 HighBoy).
  3. Will be waiting for updates. Cool idea...
  4. It might have been brought up before, but Im kinda new, and was curious. Do you have any kits that you just had to have, and you will never open and build. I only have a couple, but still, it seems to be kind of a shame that they will sit and do nothing. One of my kits is the 'Lil Gasser show truck kit. I did it as a kid, and even though Im better (I build them a lot slower than I did as a kid)now. I dont know that I will ever build it. Im a pack rat at heart though (I have tons of old Star Wars BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH in the rafters of the garage still boxed). Whats your take?
  5. I have a small folding camp table that I have set up in the livingroom. I do my small painting there and bodies and larger things in the garage. I dont have room in the garage for much else as Im building a 1:1 Rock Buggy in there (not complaining about lack of room, we have a 4 bedroom house and only 1 child with us). The Big TV is in the livingroom though and the wife likes me to spend some time with her (even if its just being there by her).
  6. I got my B-N-L Resins Rockwell axles for my Ice T build, some rims for my CJ7 build, and some 4x4 wheel sleeves (use them on my So-Real Boggers that I have. I have the Rockwells gluing now, so I can proceed with my build.
  7. That would make people wonder if it ever showed up at the track. Nice build.
  8. Try it in the 1:1 automotive world. I have been "wheeling" since 2000 (my first technical off road trail=lots of obstacles, steep climbs, tons of BIG rocks). I built my first truck and its still no where near finished (plus it cost a ton). I am currently building a dedicated "Rock Buggy" and it has taken me everything I have learned to date, to build what I think I need (i am a decent fabricator, nothing outstanding, but I can make things work right). I am not "new" to the modeling world, but my skill level is lacking. I am learning with each build though. Do my builds match the builds on this site? Not a chance, but they make me happy (same as in the 1:1 world. I build my trucks for me). Keep at it (thats what Im doing), and add something new each build.
  9. That pic was right after we bought it. Its coming along....And thanks. Yes BJoe, I am over on rccrawler as well...
  10. I dont think I have posted in here yet, but here are mine... 1. 1984 Ranger.... 347 Stroker/C-6/Dana 20, Explorer axles with 4:56's and lockers. I run 35x14.5x15 BOGGERs. 2. 1994 Explorer... 7" of lift with 35x12.5x15 BFG KM2's. i run 4:88's with lockers front and rear. I made the snorkel and have had it in water up to the windshield (once) 3. 1987 Samurai... 6" SPOA lift, 6.5:1 transfer case, 1.6 16v swap (fuel injection). No lockers. Mild to moderate trail and DD. 4. This is actually my wifes JEEP. 1984 CJ-7 (I was building my Samurai and told her to go find her JEEP, this is what she wanted... 38.5 TSL Swampers. It needs some upgrades (dana 60's). She likes it though and it is hers. (I dont like it as much). I also have a 2000 FORD F-350 SD dually and a 2003 Dodge 2500 with the big Cummins (Im a rancher). I run a 2008 Yamaha XT-250 (dual sport)a bit in the summer. I am currently building a 86 Samurai into a dedicated Rock Buggy (its a slow process though). Thanks for looking, Mark
  11. Looks great. The Explorer has such a bad rap as only a grocery getter (I have a 94 that I wheel the heck out of. Its up on 35's). Yours is a great look at them....
  12. I finally got some more shocks in, so here a little up date on this (hopefully someone is interested) anyways here we go (just a couple of pics... I filled the rear of the frame of the T with styrene and cut the tailgate and mounted it to the body.... The "fuel tank" if you will.... Im still waiting on some axles (I have 4x4 gluebomb van and some B-N-L rockwells on their way), and then I can mount the rear shocks. One set is mounted to the body (front) and the rears will be mounted to the fuel tank....
