  3. Great looking model! Cool color. This brings back some good memories as I drove a 55 Chieftain for many years.

  8. I have been using the non toxic testors cement in the blue tube with very good results. The big disadvantage is slow cure time. The tack up is also much slower than the red tube. But it is non toxic. And it is strong , as it melts the styrene. I tend to work on a couple kits at once, And I have lots of little clamps. I don't move that fast anyway. I prefer the red tube stuff. But now I am used to the non toxic type and I like the smell mmm lemon.
  9. Hello fellow car modelers. I have been cruising the forum as an observer for a few weeks and I have learned a lot just by searching through threads. Now as a new member I can join in on the fun. I am a total beginner when it comes to car models. I have constructed some models from wood, a few R/C planes and a couple ships. A few months ago, I bought some 2nd hand car kits so I built one and was instantly hooked. I now have several dozen kits. So many models so little time. Look for me in the Workbench section. I like it when a model has something extra like a hood or door that opens, steerable wheels, lights etc. See you around the board. Matt
