1:1 Cars that had an effect on you, and why.
ianguilly replied to Rodent's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
1968-1970 Dodge chargers. The general Lee, Bullitt both inspired me. I fell in love with those body lines. I thought the back window design was the coolest thing ever. I still love them, I'd love to own one one day. Until then I'll just hoard the mini versions. -
I bought a spare set of them off eBay last night

You mean the 1971 charger -
I have both the 74&73 now, both of which have the wagon option. Unfortunately the 74 has no woodgrain decals.

Oh man a possible 59 dodge and turbine kit? Both would be welcomed into my collection.

Revell has a 71 Cuda out now that's a good starting point, as for a 340 amt 71 duster will do the tick. You'll need a different belt set up to run no ac tho. As for a billboard I have no clue I'd check Keith marks site for those.

A little over a month ago came across this original 1970 mpc charger that was built up to look like a general Lee wannabe. For $10.00 I couldn't pass it up. It has since had a roadrunner chassis, engine bay,and tires pot on. It isn't a show winner but it looks way better than it did a few months ago. Here's the starting point. And the final product

MPC 70-74 Barracuda History/ Review
ianguilly replied to ChrisPflug's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Love to see a new cuda kit from round2. Preferably 1967-1969 or 1972-1974. There's enough 1970-1971 cudas out there now. -

What engine is this in the Dodge Daytona kit?
ianguilly replied to wisdonm's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
360 or 340 small block would be my best guess. -
$50 is a bit high, most I've ever paid for one is $30.

I bet the 71 demon finally sees the light.

Meh, looks a bit fat and wheels are overkill.
