  1. Wow, that looks great! The first 2 pics look real. The rims are a home run and look like they were made for this kit!
  2. Looks like a nice kit. Great job, I like alot!
  3. Thank you all for the great comments! There are a few items the need to be addressed to make this kit correct. Most obivious is the wheels, no head rests on the seats, and no floor. I used brass rod, head rests from a late 90's mustang and worked them to look similar to the 911's. I came across this website that I will use for my future builds. http://karosserie-lack-design.de/kategorie/dokumentationen/ This company does absolute amazing work! Here are some additional pics of the mods, and box w/ kit #.
  4. Yes, I like 911's !
  5. First time posting pics here. So hopefully it works! It has been some time that a project has taken me 3 months to complete. I almost boxed it up twice because I felt myself falling into a slump. I've had the kit for some time and never built it do to the disappointment of not having the correct wheels. This project started as I was trying to modify the wheels to look period correct. I think I nailed it ! Hope you like it.
  6. Welcome to the forum Matthew. Previous New Yorker myself (Staten Island). Not sure what part of New York your from, but there is an excellent Hobby Shop in New Jersey right over the Outerbridge crossing that carries lots and lots of models (every genere, and scale), tools, paints, plus lots of photo-etch, and resin goodies. I miss that shop alot. During my visit's back home I always stop there! Let me know if your interested and I can give you the info!
  7. Thank you for the warm welcome!
  8. Hello members and Happy Easter if you celebrate it! My name is Franky and reside in Nova Scotia, Canada. Originally from New York and started building in May of 2007 (WW2 Armor) until Feb. of 2008 when I tried my hand at building autos. Was not happy with my exterior finishing and became obsessed until I was turning out decent paint jobs. Built until about the summer of 2009 and closed up shop. Became interested in the hobby again in 2011 and have not stopped since. I am a member of another forum but find myself on here frequently and enjoy the forum so here I am. I hope you will enjoy my contributions, and not bash my spelling! Cheers, Franky
