Started as an Anglia panel dragster.
Then was going to be stock.
Then turned into pickup.
Now it's going to be a hot rod pickup!
Thank you to the people of Styrenestan for funding this project \m/
Chopped 'n' modded Camaro rear seat.
Flathead block.
A prelimmo look at it.
I'm at the bench right now!
^ the Suburbanite tire! I only had one of em, and it found a similar home.
I just broke down and made a shiny truck. I figured I don't want to make a new truck kit all rusty.
I don't care for Jackie Brown that much. I only dig DeNiro's nickel-plated RIA 1911, and that's the only thing I look forward to in that movie.
As for Pulp Fiction, it's alright. For Tarantino movies, I think Reservoir Dogs is the best. Just pure acting.
Oh, I've heard the reviews of the kit. I know it's bad, but I'm not a fan of 1/32. I'm the general scale guy. For cars and trucks, it's 1/24 or 1/25; model trains is HO. 1/32 is too small, 1/16 is too big.
More pictures today. Other ones were taken beginning of last winter, just about a year ago.
I heard you been talkin' cr@p about flipnoses....
Some of that gorgeous Coventry rust.
I never make any shiny models. Possibly because I never have good clearcoat, but usually because I don't care. Weathering is more interesting to me, anyways.
