  4. My name is Miles. I'm from Maine, where it's cold half the year and burning the next half. I used to build quite a few kits when I was a yungin, like ten years ago my interest in the hobby came back after my father got into model railroading, once again from his childhood. I like to make buildings for model railroads, wherein I found weathering skills. Then my uncle sent me a huge box of his and my dad's old model cars and parts. And that's where I am today. Here's a picture of my Blazer, too.
  5. Golden wheels.... Now I GOTTA buy it! Love these mustangs sometimes, and this is a sometimes times.
  6. Trying to strip paint off a General Lee and it melted into a big blob of Dodge
  7. I still have some bullet tail lights lying around......
  8. I love weathering... It gives more character than shininess
  9. Thanks, all!
  10. Another rusty build! Both this and my K4 Blazer were previosly built, but I didn't have time to do a full resto of this one. The numbers were from a Snake and Mongoose funny car, and the POW decal was from a Monogram Ford Super Duty. Thoughts?
  11. Hey there! This is my first ever post! I don't like the normal everyday model car, usually (except for my Datsun 240 kit ). Thusly, I make rusty cars, as opposed to shiny ones. And here's one, a 1970s K4 Blazer. I made the Bondo out of patching plaster with red paint added until it looked almost right (I know it is not perfect :/) and I painted it with model railroad paints. The junk is quite assorted, from a TV, to paint cans, eight batteries, and some other stuff I forgot about? Opinions? Suggestions? Your rusty builds?
