  1. I've only got a few of them, but the ones I have are GIANT trailers. A car hauler, a refrigerator trailer and a tandem set. NO ROOM! My work area is around 12x20 with two tables, so there ain't much room for stuff.
  2. Don't even start with the stories of rusty British cars.... I've got a poor Triumph GT6+ that needs a full resto I love that old rust-bucket...
  3. I suppose it's because my workspace is so small. I also don't have a bunch of stuff like scale rulers or cutting mats. I enjoy building semis, but trailers are just a PITA.
  4. Laser 917! I've seen ads for those in old Mech's Illustrated mags. But lookit this Porsche, 'ere.
  5. I'm thinking very lazy on this. I have a multitude of Dirt Modified frames, and I figger I could modify one of those to be somewhat like this, and dig around in the junk box(es) for suspension and drivetrain parts.
  6. I was looking at my Datsun with suspicion today, thinking it might work. I'm saving that for a dually conversion or something. I'll check out that website. It's about time I actually built my own frames....
  7. Have access to both on the Fifth of next month! This is why I've been looking forward to school all summer. We don't have a big enough house for all the cool machines we want.
  8. My dad had a Vega with a Firebird V8 in it. He said no matter what gear you were in it could smoke the tires!
  9. Wow! Real great job! Striking colors on there!
  10. We've got a few guitars. A Squier Strat that ain't special, a new Tele body, a Jay Turser Custom SG, BC Rich Revenge, Epiphone Les Paul Studio Custom, and a bunch of acoustics, including a gorgeous Epiphone 12-string with the head broken off at the neck Gibson won't replace it, either.
  11. Arrgh, you European and Aussie guys get all the cool cars. Holdens and Vauxhalls and Panhards and XB Falcons... CURSE YOU!
  12. I looked online and it has a "Line 4" engine. Inline 4, I assume. I do have a Mini engine, however. I'd still have to find a transmission for it. I have a Cosworth engine from the Lotus Super 7, which is where I'm sourcing the wheels from.
  13. Yeah, I get the same way with projects. But still, you inspired me to start on MY '50 Austin!
  14. Revell Drag Austin... I've got a soft spot for slow English cars. So now I'm going to "restockify" this Austin. Gluing the doors shut because I hate hinges... New seats, new wheels, smaller diameter rear wheel well, taillights, grille... Cosworth 4 cylinder engine? Hmmm.... Here's what I'm starting with.
  15. That Taurus would be fine if the rear axle was out farther and it wasn't all show and no go. People do that around here with S10s... makes me sick As for the RotoRolls (patent pending), the only things that deserve Rolls grilles are Rollses and Bugs!
  16. Lookin' good! Did yours come with the 427 Ford?
  17. Yes, that truck is from Pelletier's Logging in Millinocket, Maine. They're still around, I think. They were last time we went up Norf going campin'. We live right across from a trucking business and they used to have a couple of Macks like that, I think before they got repoed or they had to sell them.
  18. VW Quantum wagon. Been searchin' like hell to find a real Quantum around here, wagon or sedan. They've got Audi engines in 'em, and if they don't sit for a long time after a slushy winter they're really reliable haulers.
  19. Has anybody ever converted a drag car back to stock? I'm thinking about doing it with my 1950 Austin Devon drag car. Looks sorta stupid to me, but mostly because I have a soft spot for slow British cars
  20. I know. Crappy camera. I have a lot of stuff to spend cash on. Stereo gear, model cars, cameras, guitars, old computers.... GAH!!
  21. How could you hate a Falcon? Great chrome.
  22. Porsches are awesome! Great build.
  23. Chevy Crud... Rare to see one that ain't rusty in real life! This is looking EPIC! Great quality on the turbo! I'll need to steal a study hall every week at school to lathe some stuff in the metal shop.... Keep it up!
  24. 1990s and earlier Audi interiors with leather seats get this unique smell.
