  1. All that Walmart paint is pretty nice. ColorPlace is way better than Krylon in my experience. At least they don't have those dumb adjustable nozzles...
  2. I cleaned my workbench a few weeks ago. But since I have two rigs, an IMSA Mustang, a Firebird, a Porsche, a Camaro, a tractor, an Austin and three hot rods going it looks like THIS XD Anybody else have this dilemma? I suppose not many, as I've seen some clean work areas around here.
  3. I hate this one with a passion since I saw it few years back in HRM... http://www.posiesrodsandcustoms.com/posies_statements/jaguar/
  4. New readers: don't be disparaged by these first posts! It gets better, I promise! Trying to find a 1/24 or 1/25 farm tractor was not something I wanted to pursue any further. AMT Ertl made some, but I don't have $90 plus shipping to buy models. I had this Freightliner cabover lying around which I hated and it's lending its parts to this tractor I'm making. I have a lot of reference for tractor stuff, as there are some examples of these fine machines in the yard This is our Farmall H, of which I'm getting basic tractor-y ideas from. More to come....
  5. That second one is the best. All others are ungodly, like that 120 :sobs:
  6. Looks good. I understand the blurry pictures dilemma.
  7. Rather have one of those than any new Ferrari or Lambo.
  8. When I first discovered this thread (about 1/2 done) I went back and read all of it. Your craftsmanship is just beyond words.
  9. Good idea. Just looked it up. It would make more sense with the Cosworth!
  10. Gah. School this past week. Burnt me out after a summer of vegetating. Now it's the weekend, I have my iPad with a fairly decent camera and some models to work on, this being one of them.
  11. I've got one of these I need to re-do.... look good, yours do!
  12. I shy away from lifted trucks when they're unnecessary. I live in Maine and the stupid things are EVERYWHERE. I mean, it's fine if you actually use it but a lot of people around here just tool around in 'em. Saw a lifted S-10 a while ago, bright yellow with huge wheels... eww. I might make a mud run truck out of it though... good opportunity for weathering.
  13. What exactly are you going for? Which body are you using? It'd be nice to see a new car with an old engine instead of vice versa as per normal...
  14. I've heard a lot of people use Jag rearends on their T-Buckets... lookin' mighty sharp there!
  15. Looking good! I don't know any tips that might help you, as this looks great already!
  16. Removed all the decals and chrome today. Took off the parachutes, headlights, and hood scoop and sanded all the glue spots smooth. Then I plugged up the hole in the hood with plastic and filled the gaps between the plug and hood with patching plaster. Pics tomorrow.
  17. I guess I forgot to mention I'm 16 years old and get $20 a month XD I can get a job though, and I suppose I should.
  18. Yeah, I remember seeing those too. Dad's got a model of a Bug with the Ford grill on it. Called the "Streetle Beetle" if you wanna look it up.
  19. I've got that Thames panel dragster that I want to do too, but I suppose I should work on this... went out to the mall today, so I didn't have time.
  20. That ES-150.... looked up pictures of one. Geez, I love guitars like that.
  21. That Magnum looks like a Monaco. Always thought that Magnum was a new Dodge name....
  22. His disciples lead him in, and he just does the rest..... Anyone?
