  1. Never really cared for this song as much as others on the album, but around 2:30 where the guitar stings come in, it gets cool. "Meet the brand new day-huh-hey-ayyyy The sun is up The sky is blue It's beautiful And so are you ____ ________ Won't you come out to play?"
  2. All that I'd change is the fenders! One nice looking car!
  3. Me? I open my kits right away. Usually it's in the car or the store parking lot, even just to see the decal sheet or any obvious flaws. Then, when I get home, all the bags get opened and everything gets checked over. Ideas are written down, reference material is found, then the notes and parts go back into the box until I start it. So when do you open your kits?
  4. I oughtta get one. I rebuilt one a while ago, quite nice kit.
  5. Please let this be the last coat of putty for this half... http://postimg.org/image/tj5l07677/ http://postimg.org/image/heqbj7tb7/ http://postimg.org/image/of9py95pf/ http://postimg.org/image/l9tplscgz/ Here's a representation of how much I cut from the cab to get it to this size. http://postimg.org/image/rq2obvl0j/ I'll have to get this photosharing thing down today. :/
  6. Being an owner of a GT6+ Mk. II, that thing made me mad. Ah, well... I guess I'll scratchbuild one some day.
  7. Yeah, sometimes you just wanna open it up, paint it, and put it together.
  8. There was an episode of the Simpsons it was on, something with Swedish people or Danish people and how it reminded them of death
  9. Well, for you guys at least...
  10. Love me some gassers! Gives me an idea to build one.
  11. There is hot rodding, most definitely, but to a lesser extent. Things are just too complicated with new cars, computers and such.
  12. What's the usual going price for these packs?
  13. Everybody Hurts - REM Reminds me of the episode of The Office where Dwight's in his car listening to this
  14. Second-to-last coat of putty and primer. This badge is the Freightliner one with "White" scraped off, and a Ford badge from the flipnose side step added.
  15. I brought in plastic and some of my builds to Art Club one day, and a lot of people really thought it was cool. Everybody tried making stuff with plastic, which they found intimidating at first, but then they saw how easy it really is. Nobody asked me about car kits or anything, but at least I got some people looking at modeling in general. It's an expression form, and that's why I love it.
  16. I blurred it, and other people did it before without a grumble. Thanks for commenting on a non-issue.
  17. Written on the Wind
  18. Right on all counts of people who answered Ech, sorry about the swear. Didn't think it was that big of a deal, but, after all, you're the mods for a reason.
  19. Too much money, never at the LHS, I can't find my fresh X-Acto blades, doesn't look very good, and I don't usually do shiny cars.
