Yes your right it is from a tonka truck they came with different things on the trailer mine came with a go cart which I lost ages ago

Got the paint finished on the gto today it was my first go at weathering like this and I am very pleased how it turned out.

I have a heap of plastic sheet lying around and am wondering if I could use it for modeling purposes in place of styrene

Here is what I am building it is a 1969 mustang with the roof and rear sheet metal cut off with plans to install a Pontiac motor and put a custom tray with weathered paint

So this is my entry an amt gto which I am swapping the 455 for a 396\427 Chevy motor which is paired to a c6 ford trannie. I am trying to keep this period correct but there will be some modern things added.the paint scheme planned is going to be a brown to look like a normal le mans so it won't get pulled over but that could be subject to change. Engine mock up and wheels

I'm 15 and I build because it relieves stress and it is really good fun. Yes my builds aren't super realistic or detailed but they express me and what I like about cars.

I'd go for the revell I have the amt and it' s a pretty terrible model

Yeah that's what I am talking about regular cars being adapted to a utility

Yeah I didn't think about it much the rule is that the vehicle you start with must not be based on a utility but be adapted to one however with MustangGuy23 entering with a truck I might relax this rule.
