Thank you men, Tom, i scrunch it up and dab it on the wet paint , usually only once, otherwise it starts getting messy, as i use Automotive Acrylics, they dry very quickly, so just got to be ready to go as soon as the paint is out of the Air brush. A quick practice will give you a good idea of how quick you need to be, depending on which paint you use yourself.
  3. Thanks guys, you gotta save them one way or another I think. DonW, the motor was originally a big 6, but I split it and made it into a V12, and made my own intake system for it. cheers, Dale
  4. This was a busted kit i got from a friend years ago, after ignoring it for so long, i decided to do SOMETHING to it, just to be different and not waste a kit. BEFORE AFTER.
  5. Great build Carl, the white interior really makes the violet POP, the complete combo really work mate.
  6. That second one is spot on i think, and with the LS1 swap, at least they stopped the oil leaks.

  11. With the theme you are doing, and you can't decide on the black or maybe white, how about black/white camo?? Just a thought.

  17. Great paint job mate. I had to do the same with trans tunnel with my kit too, pretty poor oversight by the manufacturers i think.

  20. Sorry Scott, i just presumed you guys know our cars like we Aussies know yours, you were pretty well on the money though mate. The first pic is a Green 1970 LC Holden GTR Torana 202 6ccyl with a turbo, The first 2 toranas is what Fractalign is scratch building in the workshop section. Black 1974 LJ Holden XU1 Torans, this one runs a Holden 308 V8, way NOT factory fitted. Black 1973 Ford XB GT Falcon Coupe, which has been done as the Max Max interceptor. The second pic from the front: 1972 HQ Holden Monaro, with a Statesman front end and runs a very strong 350 chev The white one in MY 1966 VC Valiant, has flared guards from the 70's and runs a strong 360/727 combo. The green one is a 1973 VJ Charger (aussie version) , also running a strong 360 At the back is a 1975 LH Holden Torana which is running a 350 chev. The ute i posted is my own 1966 VC Valiant Wayfarer ute which i pulled out of a barn 18 months ago, (was pink, so needed to be painted) which runs a 245 Hemi 6cyl , and i have done ALL the work myself, will be registered very soon. cheers, Dale
