  1. Man, that finish looks outstanding. I'm happy for you, now that the paint is finally red.
  2. Thanks. I'm hoping the motivation bug will bite soon. I'd like to finish this by September.
  3. I would let her violate my personal space.
  4. I tried to divert attention with a bikini girl, but I guess all this PCness is more powerful. Now that's a shame!
  5. I'd like to know who could find this offensive.
  6. If it weren't people who can't leave politics out of a hobby of building model cars, we wouldn't have to go in a round about way to comment on his model. People just can't leave politics alone. Some have to make everything political, even a hobby. Ridiculous, uterly.
  7. It's not the countrt, it's a group of people who are refusing to live in the now. Remember the past, this 2015, move on. You have a great lookin build, I hope they don't delete the pos5.
  8. Cool little car.
  9. Very nice build. The 66 and 67 Novas have always been my favorite. Paint looks great, excellent detailing, well done.
  10. Thanks. I'm gonna go ahead with the tuck and roll. I'm gonna keep some of the trim, leave off some, figure that out as I go along.
  11. I hate when it that happens. Sad part is, it's happening more and more.
  12. I had to cut the hub on the rim down about half of what's there. I then drilled the rim mounting holes out to 1/8 inch. I then had to trim the "spindle and axle" hubs down to get the rims to fit in the wheel wells. I'll post some pics when I get back to the bench this weekend.
  13. Thanks everyone. I'll be back on this, this weekend. Work has me out all week.
  14. Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. Kenny.... the radiator hose and heater hoses are in the same place, which I can't remember. As soon as I remember where I put them, I'll put them on.
  15. Thanks for the compliments guys.
  16. That sure looks good behind that Pete.
  17. Look at some old P.I.E. trucks. Almost all the old Cabovers had the shorter bumper.
  18. Look at my Maginni build thread. I did just that. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=101324&page=1
  19. That's hard to say. I have a set of 10 inch stacks, just tips and the whole thing with the elbow. I'll back with ya real quick, those are handy.
  20. Sorry it took me so long to get back with ya. Here's a link for plastruct elbows. http://www.plastruct.com/Pages/OnlineCatalogIndex.lasso?-Search=Action&-Table=Products&-MaxRecords=50&-SkipRecords=150&-Database=PI&-SortField=zfsequencer&-SortOrder=ascending&-SortField=zfsequencer&-SortOrder=ascending&-SortField=zfsequencer&-SortOrder=ascending&-Op=bw&CatSearch=Tubing The sizes your lookin for TB3 through TB12 I imagine. The last number is the scale inch size. There's a ton of products, you'll have to dig to find the styrene tubing. But this link is for styrene elbows.
  21. Well, I've tracked down a 72 Gran Torino, in need of restoration. But, for this, I wish the motivation bug would bite.
  22. I'm having a hard time deciding which interior to use. The custom tuck and roll or the stock style. Either way it'll be matching the exterior colors, metallic red and pearl white.
  23. That was very cool. I enjoy this forum very much. There would be more than a few kits and resto projects that would never have seen the light of day if not for the awesome people on here.
