  1. I see everything pulling this style trailer.
  2. Just yesterday I saw probably 20. Not the same trailer, but the same setup. I was on I40 going east from Ca to Az.
  3. Right now I'm using the kitchen counter. A real PITA. Hopefully in the 6 months, about 1st of the year, I'll have a proper bench area.
  4. Since the Big Daddy dragster (front engined version) has been reissued, I may have to grab one of those (or more). watch out with this one. It has the wrong front end or was it the chassis, anyway it is, the chassis is too narrow, it will need to be widened. Hopefully the link works. It's my thread of that kit I'm workin on. I show how I corrected the problem. My next purchase will probably be something I don't need and will make my wife mad.
  5. Here's my recently purchased 72 Gran Torino glue bomb, well, glue bomb is an understatement. First look, it has a very poorly done paint job. Next, it is a NASCAR body and that's where the Gran Torino about it ends. The chassis, interior tub and rims, are from a 70 Super Bee prostreet. No motor or tires from said Super Bee. This was someone's attempt at a bash up, I would consider done badly. This is a glue bomb, gobs of what appear to be Elmer white glue were holding this together. I bought a 70 Torino for everything, minus the body. Now, my question is. What to do? Here are some pics of this.
  6. So far, I'm liking the new format. I'm getting everything figured out that I need to get figured out. The only problem I can't seem to square away, and it's probably my device, is when I quote and reply, the typing is delayed or does some wacky stuff. It will delete a letter or space on its own. Spell check doesn't work. But that's only when I'm quoting. Just a normal reply, everything works just fine. Like I said, best I can I figure it's my Android phone.
  7. Thanks for comments guys. I'm going with the 409, painted to match. I'm mainly going for the look of protouring, lowered stance, wider wheels. I'm hoping to get to the bench today at some point and get a little done.
  8. Welcome to the forum. Good see a younger builder. We need more, tell your friends, LOL.
  9. Lookin good. Thanks for a detailed look at the track system.
  10. Great lookin build. Paint and decals looks right. Well done. It has in board mounted, cantilever setup.
  11. Welcome to the forum Jeff.
  12. Well, now that I have my hands on it and looked it over. Quickly I determined it is an old NASCAR kit, whos? I don't know yet. The next thing I noticed, the only thing Torino about it is the body. Everything, minus a motor and tires, is 70 Super Bee prostreet, dash, tub chassis and rims. Very disappointed to say the least. I'm gonna have to fub my way through this with 70 Torino parts I imagine. I'm gonna have to figure something out for the dash, I know 70 to 72, the dashes were very different. I hope to have a decent lookin shelf piece when I'm done with it.
  13. Thank you. I like it, now that I'm getting used to it. Some of the new features are better than before.
  14. Kurt, that looks awesome. Well worth the wait. Inspires me to build one of these trailers.
  15. Well done Cliff. Very nice build. You have some good lookin work going on over there.
  16. I saw it on the news. But, on the road, we got a fire burning on the Cajon Pass. A few cars, trucks, a boat, a big truck, and a tow truck that were stopped on the freeway caught fire. Highway patrol shut the freeway down, the fire crossed the freeway and across traffic. It's a wild thing to be watching on the news. It's about 15 to 20 miles from my house, I know a few people that are the evacuation area.
  17. I've been playing around with it on my Galaxy phone. I'm getting used to it. It's just gonna take some time. Like everything in life, no matter how much we may not like it, change is inevitable. I don't mind it's not mobile friendly. I like that I can zoom. We will get used to it, then when it changes again, we won't like it. I will probably never use the chat feature. I have faith that Gregg will get this straightened out, the best he can.
  18. Seems fine to me. Just takes some adjusting. We will all be used to it in no time. I think this will be better once all little things are learned and worked out.
  19. Looks great. This will be a good lookin unit.
  20. Looks great. What are you gonna have pulling it?
  21. Saw these this week. The 2 axle I saw in a rest area, the Mayflower truck I saw at a truck stop and the United truck I saw while I was eating dinner at the Black Bear diner.
