  1. We will be patient if we need to. Like several above it is my first morning stop.
  2. 1941 Chevrolet from Ron Andrews. A couple of generators and goodies from Shapeways.
  3. All indications (read opinions) are that the hood tilts forward. So I started scribing.
  4. Seat of the pants fabrication. Hopefully there won't be too much back pedalling required.
  5. Played with the lathe making hubs. as you can tell, it will be a while before I can change my name to Francis.
  6. GM Heritage didn't have a picture but they thought the whole thing tilts forward. The upper part hides a compartment above the engine.
  7. Now If I could only find how the hood opens. No photos yet on the web. I have a message in at GM's Heritage center.

  9. Preparations continue. degreasing, de flashing and a life size photo to make templates from. As for the width I see the width of the cab.
  10. Turns out there are ramps that are stored behind the licence plate panel.
  11. Turns out the truck which inspired this build is a diecast by Danbury Mint. Go figure. And I thought it was scratchbuilt.

  15. A '38 GMC and a Gremlin from Mr. Flintstone.
  16. How do they load this thing? Slide out ramps? The whole bottom of the bed rolls out?
