  1. We got our bread, milk and ice for the ancient ice box delivered by guys in wagons pulled by horses. You could leave your milk bottles on the front porch with a list of what you wanted, along with cash for the items. It never got stolen. The milkman always took a break in front of our house, and put the feed-bag on the horse. Man, those were sure the innocent days, but what great memories!
  2. How about a dark grey and silver?
  3. Sub par? Closet? I think not! Come on Ray...don't under rate your modelling abilities...you rock!
  4. Sweet!
  5. Ah...they WERE the good old days....good topic Rich!
  6. The 1939/40 AMT Ford tudor sedan. Don't see it around for quite a long time.
  7. Nice looking custom.
  8. It would probably be the '48 Chev sedan delivery . Not blaming Galaxie, I'm sure the LHS just jacked the price a lot. And like a typical dumb Canuk, I actually paid their asking price, hoping for more than what was in the box...like a free magazine or something.
  9. Being a huge hot rod fan, I would certainly buy a few of those. I believe I have the original body with turtle deck in my box of old buildups although I kinda prefer a pickup box. But having a few extra rods in the shop is like a comfortable blanket on a cold night....just feels right! When my health improves, I 'll be out there making some purchases!
  10. Really nice save! Nice colours also. I really need to build a "T", , it won't look this good tho'.
  11. Exactly what I thought. You sure do fine work Harry!
  12. Seems like you have a good plan. Like the colours you've picked, like the red steering wheel. I'll keep my (currently one) eye on your build Ray.
  13. I like most cars and trucks from the 1930s...mostly trucks. So I have a few kits that represent that . I know it's not the most wonderful kit out the, but I'm going to say the 1934 Ford pickup...either original AMT or Lindberg. There are endless possibilities from stock to full on rod. Looks good with a chopped top. Simple and fun! AND, it's a truck from the 30s!
  14. Looking forward to this build. The colour is very sofisticated . Should look killer when done. ( BTW.... the new avatar is much better.)
  15. Absolutely beauiful!
  16. Nicely done! Weathering is very believable. I like the rear doors. Very interesting subject matter also. I like it!
  17. Looks good. Nice 2 tone colours.
  18. Nice to see this kit built stock. I almost forgot what "stock" looked like.
  19. Looking forward to more!
  20. Ditto! Many thanks.
  21. This model will look terrific when finished! I love the taillight treatment.
