  1. Great looking truck! The colour combo is terrific as is your photography...I thought it was the real deal. Super nice!
  2. Beautifully done! Love the engine also.
  3. Nice looking Cobra! I like the colour.
  4. You're doing an amazing job on this build! Beautiful chassis work!
  5. I usually don't like to make build suggestions, but you might consider leaning the vent posts back a tad. Gives a "racier" profile, and you don't have to chop the top.
  6. Nice looking model.
  7. Been watching since the beginning. Often felt like making a comment, but thought, wait 'till Rich is finished. Well I have to say how amazing this diorama is! Like most other guys here, at a loss for words. Congratulations! A piece of art.
  8. '59 was the pinnacle year for wild styling IMO. Always loved the Buick, so I'll watch your build....really like your colour plans.
  9. Ray...you'll soon have to go on a low sodium diet...meanwhile, I love the roll you're on! Bet this one won't be yellow!
  10. Thanks Scott. I just love the concept of sharing ideas and info etc. which gets the creative juices flowing. I will admit that I thought I knew more than the average modeller, but since joining this forum, I've certainly been humbled! So if I throw in my 2 cents periodically I certainly don't mean to come off as a know-it-all, because I soon find out I was coming to a gun fight with an X-acto knife! I really want to get my stuff back on the bench and have some fun!
  11. Personally, my original intentions were to show my WIPs as they progressed. But unfortunately, I developed serious health issues in September, and my model building has ground to a halt.I still look here to see other guy's work, and feel guilty for not contributing anything. Hopefully, things will improve healthwise...the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Some of you guys really inspire me, and get me pumped up, and I thank you for that!
  12. Yes. The interior looks wonderful!
  13. Very nice!
  14. That went together quite quickly and looks great! Is the paint still curing on the yellow '53? Looking forward to seeing them together on the "salt"! I wouldn't worry about the low pipes...don't imagine there would be many obstuctions on the "salt".
  15. I believe this was the 1st model car I ever saw...all those years ago. My (then) friend had a birthday party at his house, and we ended up in the attic playroom, and he had a few cars...but I had never seen 1/25 styrene until then. I was at the local newsstand/cigar shop/ model shop the very next day! Thus, the beginning of the best hobby I ever had/have!
  16. Beautiful model!
  17. Kinda cool. Nice light commercial vehicle with endless possibilities......or go wild with V-8 and serious rubber out back! I'll wait for this one I believe.
  18. Beautiful restoration on the Blue Beetle. I love the photo of the 2 rods together! And as mentioned before, the base material looks excellent! Well done!! *****
  19. Nice paint!
  20. Your side trim looks terrific Rich! Lots of really nice details everywhere. I agree about the front being a tad lower, but it's just personal taste. Super nice build!
  21. I concur entirely! Nice touch! The entire truck looks like it will be superb when finished.
  22. You're on a great roll Ray! 2 Studebakers built for the salt is terrific! I'm looking at my '53 on the bench, but can't decide what direction to build it. Got a nice Pro-Mod slot car which is also a chopped '53 Stude, and IRL I once owned a lovely 1:1 '61 Hawk Limited production, so I really like the Studebakers. Keep at it....I'll be following.
  23. Yes.....there IS a big smile on my face! Thanks for the warm and fuzzy moment.
