  1. Finally after MANY attempts....a photo! I have a love/hate thing with this technology!
  2. Back to work on the foundation. Just sorting out the suspension and wheel/tire location. The rear end is a narrowed '30 Packard unit with bat-wings added for the future 4 bar. (Sorry...can't post any photos).
  3. Gorgeous build...spectacular colours. Did I mention I liked it?
  4. I really like this one also. I love the cycle fenders hunkered down close to the tires! Smooth!
  5. I can't explain why I find these cars cool...but then I can't explain why I love hot rods either! Am I the only one with an insufficient answer?
  6. Cool hot rod Ray. Nice colour.
  7. Beautifully balanced car! You're doing a great job Bill.
  8. Very lovely model! The interior is superb.
  9. Thought I'd drag this old project out and see what needs immediate attention. Got looking at how I planned to mount the wheel backs as I really want those Pro-stars. Also need to raise the rear deck a bit .....so here we go! Back into bench time finally. And also knew about issues with the hood fitment, so while a lot of work is well started, there is miles to go. So here it sits today.
  10. Hi Road! Welcome. Quite a few of us Canuckleheads here. Hope you stick around.
  11. We got insurance...right???
  12. Sounds like the sensible thing to do...making lists. However, I'll probably be helter-skelter with my builds...as usual.
  13. Thanks guys. Bill, it pleases me that you approve of the Offy! I was hoping you would.
  14. Totally unexpected build! VERY cool! Very sinister also.
  15. Looks very well done under the hood! Good looking muscle car.
  16. The lakes modified will have a full hood, thanks to a Pyro 35 Auburn (the sides are scratch-built with mesh air vents ) . And I've kept the model "A" grille shell to keep it more period correct. The seats are '32 Ford Victoria (AMT). The floor is scratch-built as well.
  17. Nice collection of '49 Mercs. I too, like the black coupe. Puts a new twist on the Merc. Cool!
  18. Coming along very nicely Rich! Looks good in that amazing garage!
  19. Thanks for the good wishes fellas. I really appreciate your interest. Nobody wants to get back at the lakes car more than me! And I also have the '37 cabover, a '34 pickup and a camper trailer on the go....just no ambition since my health took a dive. But with the spring on the way, and I can access my paint facility, maybe some action will soon happen.
  20. Now that's sharp! Kinda like a "Ute" to my eye. I like it!
  21. My bad. I did have the XJ S, not the XJ 6. Anybody know who made the XJ S?
