  1. The folks at Custom Craft (1961) were looking for a new car for the mail-box page. I took this photo of my '52 Chevy which had been a bank, given to me in 1954 from a sales manager from Chevrolet. The photo was taken with a Kodac "Brownie" camera...This was my first custom car wish I still had it!

  3. Nice to see another "old" guy still into the hobby! Have a very "good Friday" Rich!
  4. Absolutely no idea Danno, but I finally stumbled on how to retrieve my PMs this morning...after 2 years of owning this tablet! NO FOOLIN' !!!
  5. Cool vibe to this. I really like the bumpers...so many possibilities there.
  6. I once found about a dozen old build ups on someone's lawn on garbage day. I had access to a plastic bag that I put the models into, took them home, and put them in the laundry tub with hot water and soap to soak. I think you should try to save these abandoned kits.
  7. Great paint job!
  8. Is it curbside or does it have an engine...if so, what?
  9. If you want a neglected, aged look, I'm sure there a lots of tutorials here on this site by guys that really know their stuff! I haven't seen one of these cars for quite a while, and would be cool to see one weathered. Hope things work out for you.
  10. Hot looking car Blair! Those wheels look great on there. The paint and interior are excellent.
  11. Just a layout of the axles for the truck. The rear is a narrowed Packard, with scratchbuilt coil-overs. There will also be a panhard bar. The rear will also have scratchbuilt 4 bar while the front 4 bar is from the Monogram '40 Ford pickup.
  12. That's a real nice flathead engine there! Well done!
  13. X2 !! What wheels will you use?
  14. Great idea! Looks really nice, and the colour is a good choice.
  15. Cool slammer. Beautiful paint job! Nice looking custom!
  16. SWEET !!
  17. The front end is looking good Richard. I really like the bumper, but the grille and headlights really finish it up! Great job!
  18. Did this get dropped or no interest anymore? I kinda miss it.
  19. Please tell us more......I've always liked these Ford trucks.
  20. Very cool! Would like to see a couple of outdoor shots sometime. Glad you kept the windshield...gives it a "going fast" look just sitting there!
  21. You sure have the "touch" Harry. Another beautiful build! Too bad about the hood fitment issues. Still looks great!
  22. I believe there are so many variations of what pleases the eye, that it boils down to individual tastes. Example: I love the green car, but the roof on the red car turns me off. To someone else, it's probably the other way around. Some builders of hot rods have established a "style" that lots of people like...eg Chip Foose, Boyd Coddington , George Barris etc. But if you like a certain car or builder's style, then that should be your choice. Wouldn't it be a drag if we were all the same.....(Jimi Hendrix).
  23. Very cool. Looks good in that colour. Like your outdoor shot.
