My condolences to you Carl on the loss of your life-long friend. I too, have a dear friend that's nearing the end, and I've known him most my life. It's sad to get old and watch your nearest friends and family pass away... but I think that we have to be realistic and know that we all go sooner or later. Hopefully on the other side, our spirits will reconnect.

This is an ancient mould from Monogram, so there's bound to be fitment issues. Looks like you have the problem solved with the back of the hood/cowl. I have one of these on a side pile that I was fitting '53 Corvette headlights.

The real truck is a real beauty for sure! I'm sure you'll do a fine job on yours! I like "smooth", so getting rid of the louvers is a great idea.

Interesting piece. Believeable weathering and graffiti. Tony's hand is good comic relief, and I like how the tire treads have been sanded.
