  1. Verrrry interesting! It's a very cool idea. Love the real vehicle! Hope you pull this off.
  2. Very nice looking Packard indeed. The wheels are great.
  3. Looks like you're having a lot of FUN with this build Blair! That's one cool interior!
  4. Super nice build!
  5. Another nice build Ray! I love old hot rods. Still looking for this kit.
  6. Found this '32 sedan delivery body (Switchers) in a dusty box last week.I had forgotten that I had it!
  7. David...is this project on the shelf? I was totally enjoying your work. Hope you bring it back!
  8. Looks like you did a great job on this! Nice engine bay, panel lines and paint. Well done!
  9. Lovin' this long roof!
  10. Really like the old school look you have there. The interior is really nice! Nice work!
  11. I mostly have 2 or 3 more serious projects, and another 2 or 3 "idea" projects. Once I feel more comfortable with driving, I'll be able to get to my paint shop and make some progress.
  12. Very convincing rust....love the fenders! Engine bay is nicely grimed up too. Well done!
  13. Sharp interior and I like the white paint job. Cool looking car!
  14. Really nice...and no rust or termites!
  15. Saw the thoracic surgeon this morning... my CT scan showed a slight improvement since the last one. He told me that I should have the surgery done to remove the useless lung lobe, but it could wait for a few months....whew!! Feels like I just was handed the "Get out of jail" card! (Temporarily)
  16. Yeh...I was pretty sure I had a '32 sedan delivery, but I've been distracted as of late. Then I see all these roadsters and sedans, and I think," I completely forgot about the delivery...THAT might be cool!" I must get more focused..normally I would never miss that before! And I have a couple of deuce frames on hand...thanks Revell! First thought was "flathead"!
  17. I purchased the stock and custom versions of this kit, and when I opened the stock one, I was almost left breathless! What a beautiful kit! I haven't opened the custom, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed. The blue car is positively gorgeous! Nice job Tim!
  18. Opened a dusty box...found this old "Switchers" body. Putting this in the "to do" pile.
  19. Now, that's different for sure. Looks like it would work IRL. Not too crazy about the fenders tho.
  20. Condolences to the Koert family.
  21. Very nicely done Carl! Love the colour and Cragers. Photography is good too.
  22. I used Devcon for quite a while, but heard good things about JB, so Ithought I'd try it out. When I moved about 4 years ago, I packed things carefully and the only cars that dropped bumpers etc, were models from long ago that were assembled using tube glue. The rest can be moved around with no problem. So for final assembly, I ALWAYS use JB.
  23. Yes....
  24. I have used the JB weld and was very happy with the product. I put 2 equal amounts on a Post-it-note, then THOROUGHLY mix with a toothpick, then depending on the application, I use another toothpick or a round toothpick for delicate edges. Give it the appropriate amount of time to harden, and you should be good to go. Seems to make a very strong bond...I really like it.
