  1. Nice! (And a one-owner to boot!) Welcome to the forum!
  2. You have me stumped on the body(s) , but it looks very cool! Any ideas for the rear? I was thinking that the belt line from the cowl should continue all around, and that it should be only slightly weathered. Just my knee-jerk 1st thoughts Blair.
  3. Very clean build. I like your colour choice. The diorama has been great for a backdrop eh?
  4. Looks great in red Stan. Sweet ride!
  5. Not likely everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. I like it's pleasing stance, and how you have the cab and box so straight. Glad it ended up looking like it does. Two thumbs up!
  6. Now that's a cool hot rod! So glad you decided on the Kelsey-Hayes wheels. You have certainly planted some ideas in my head.
  7. I would choose the stock grille in the 2nd photo, but I also kind of like the "custom" grille in photo #1. Either way...cool truck!
  8. This will be fun! Enjoy the build Ray! Any specific direction you're aiming for?
  9. Wow! That is just sweet! Did you scratch build the small Offy, or did you find it in a kit? It looks so right in that car! I'm a big fan of Offenhauser engines. There's my version in my "lakes modified" on the workbench, but due to a very big set-back with my health in September, my model building has been put on hold. Love the history of Offy engines and the places they were run. I like your placement of the SCTA plate/decal on the front of the block also.
  10. This will be very cool. Count me in to be watching your progress.
  11. Really sharp!
  12. I usually jot down ideas, figure sizes in scale if scratchbuilding, sometimes doodle a sketch of the general direction I'm hoping to go, but keep track of the hours I put in.....never happened...never will. I build because I enjoy the time I spend with the models, not how much time I spend having fun.
  13. Great stance Ray! I love it!
  14. Another lovely '37. Nicely done!
  15. One of my personal favourite kits ever. My parts box still has some of the early goodies from back in the day. It'll be a blast to see your pics! Talk about a trip down memory lane!
  16. I concur with the other fellas.....super nice build....great colour choice!
  17. What an impressive build! The detail and weathering are superb. Some of your photos are done so well, that it's difficult distinguishing the model from the 1:1. Congratulations, and please keep us updated!
  18. Great lines!
  19. Beautifully done! Great workmanship also. Great job!
  20. Very cool....but the drivetrain is terrific!
  21. Super nice build Shane! The colour looks fabulous and highlights the terrific curves of this vehicle. Well done!!
  22. Man! I just love looking at your projects....this is yet another! Thanks Blair!
