So I just got into diecast last year. Always said I wouldn't get any, because I love to build. But I cant get a Zonda in kit form so I went to kc auto to pick it up then got hooked. Already up to 20 plus cars.
Auto Art Zonda.
These are all 5 plus years old. The Camaro and Malibu went on a cross country move from Az to Mo when I moved and lost a mirror or 2 plus a couple nicks. Still look decent to me.
Welcome to the hobby. I would say start with some Tamiya models. They have great instructions. They go together great. And they have great selection of paint which the instructions show you where each color goes. I would start out with rattle can. Tamiya has great spray paints. Don't forget to prime. And one of the best ways to figure out paint is pics of real cars and your imagination. Just have fun with it do what you think is cool. You tube has Videos on painting.
Welcome wish I could get to Japan. All my favorite kits cone from there. To be able to just drive or take the train to tamiya or Model Factory Hiro would be awsome.
Here is another one from 4 or 5 years ago. Everyone knows this car is supposed to be Orange, but I didn't want a 1/12 scale orange car so just went with gunmetal.
