  1. And Miller and Bro did at least one joint venture in creating a wrecker.
  2. An excellent mix of North American and European style wrecker. Great!
  3. I already have post of this. Don't read you other threads? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6458 Yea, I bought several of the Jaymar 1/16th scale items years ago. They are a far cry from the Colin Grey originals. I have been bashing them on forums for years and they finally respond to me over ten years ago by sending me an updated version of some Kenworth T600 fairings they made, that I bought originally. The originals were so brittle that when they arrived from to me in Florida, from Australia, by ship, 6 months later, they were in pieces, like corn flakes. He supposedly changed the formula of his casting material, which wasn't that much better. I don't know why his quality sucked the way it did. Didn't he have access to the same resin material the USA, Canadian and British casters used? Ken Smith had articles in Car Modeler magazine that showed how to detail the 1/16 scale engines Colin Grey offered. The original parts by Colgrey components were top quality. I have never seen the originals for sale since then.

  5. Boxes are the same size. Last reissued around 1997.
  6. I guess it was about that long ago when I bought it. I bought two KWs and two trailers then. Despite all of the talk for the 1/16th scale trucks now, at that time, they weren't big sellers back then. I saw several hanging around hobby shops around the southeast USA during that that time not being sold. I got good prices for these. People always claim they want this and that, yet when they become available, there is more hype than purchasing.
  7. Keep em' coming. New model vehicals of any type are good with me. Ok, I was just kidding, more Big Rigs!
  8. You mean 1/8th scale Pocher Volvo truck? Like I said!
  9. Typical of car modelers. Once they are confronted with a 300 peice real truck kit they find every excuse why it's the kits problem and not their lack of skills.
  10. I'll get to this one eventually.
  11. I don't know if V8s were used in this model.
  12. Classic! Truck modelers are the best!
  13. Italeri will not offer a cabover. They are only interested in representing typical American type trucks.
  14. South African is a major market cabover Internationals. I also think there are some in Brazil.
  15. I've gotten the impression that the next one will be a Freightliner, Western Star or a trailer.
  16. You are more likely to see an 880 as a resin kit than from Italeri. Italeri will offer a totally new American subject. But not announce it before 2014 at the earliest.
  17. Definitely looks like it's for the Asian/Australian/New Zealand market. I have never seen a class 8 kick axle 6 x4 in North America.
