  1. Exactly! Those that are not in to heavy commercial or construction modeling tend to lump all trucks in one category. The way I see car modeling, a 1967 Corvette is the same as a 1970 Corvette is to me, a 1978 Camaro is the same as a 1988 Camaro is to me or one NASCAR verses another NASCAR. Same body, different decals.
  2. More boring than another Corvette, another NASCAR, another 1960s Chevy, another 1932 whatever....? Now those are boring!
  3. Another nice build. A bit of weathering would really turn it out!
  4. Nice build and photography. Build one with the RD cab. It will look up-to-date.
  5. Very interesting information. I wonder how long AMT would have lasted if the strike had been resolved amicable. Would we have seen the newer trucks and longer trailers of that time as 1/25th scale kits?
  6. Lets just hope all the complaining and whining about when the kit was going to be released, translates in to sales figures that will justify the investment made of this kit and future kits, regardless of the subject matter. The bottom line is, good sales equal more new truck kits.
  7. Are the Harold Weber and Czech Truck Model items still available?
  8. Also, the wipers way out of scale and not much of a molding. It's best to sand them off and use some photo etch wipers. In fact getting a hold of the White Freightliner photo etch kit would do wonders in improving this kit.
  9. I have the Walker cab over and the SAE issue.
  10. Quality build. Espically for 1982. The CL9000 was one truck subject that should have been make in to a kit of at least 1/25th scale. I hope the guy still has it.
  11. While the board was down, the Prostar kits hit the shelves.
  12. Great Alain, I see you figured out how to post. I'm sure everyone will be astounded by your future model photographs. You have incredible talent.
  13. Now we have to see it outdoors, in a realistic photo shoot!
  14. Fantastic! Do you know who made this one?
  15. You can go to the Miller Industries web site and search. They have detailed information on their products. The models are the Challenger 8808 and 9909 Rotator.
