  1. Not true.
  2. http://www.hendrickson-intl.com/Trailer/Slider-Suspension
  3. Gee, wish I would have said that!
  4. Who has the best price for the trailer?
  5. Good stuff. Maybe you should do an article in Car Modeler on how to correct the short comings?
  6. http://www.brennerta...k-trailers.aspx
  7. So when are we gonna get those new after market items you announced?
  8. Italeri has a whole line of modern tractors.
  9. I like ostentatious lights, but it doesn't need them.
  10. Exactly (except for the chicken lights). Any truck modeler would know that. Thanks for your first impression review of the kit. As for the glad hands. There are after market gland hands, scale hinges of many types as well has other after market items. Stripping the chrome is something that should be done on every model kit. The factory plating is always too thick and not very realistic. Stripping the chrome always exposes more of the molded detail. Alclad, for example has many shades of metal to accurately reproduce many materials.
  11. Daniel has great stuff, I purchase from him frequently.
  12. Note, I'm not trying to flame this thread. The trailer will couple to more than the not available yet ProStar.
  13. Every gripe and complaint about this model has been address several times on this truck model board. Anyone can search the previous Moebius Great Dane Reefer threads and find the redundant statements. It use to be easier to search until the pick up truck threads and real truck threads were mixed up. The reefer unit is the least of the true big rig modeler's concerns. There are ways to add a realistic reefer units to this fine trailer. As was stated multiple times, we were informed very early in the development that the reefer unit would not be as accurate as the trailer itself. In fact an after market modeler asked what future aftermarket truck items we wanted. I suggested a modern detailed reefer unit, among other things I didn't see too many other suggestions. This kit is more than I expected and is just what I have been looking for at least 20 years. It's less of an issue than the difference between a flare side and a step side pick up car.
  14. Model Round Up Is just a few mile from me. I going to pick up two this week. No shipping, no tax! The mud flaps are similar to the Ertl Reefer and dry van. The Great Dane logos look superior to the decals in the Ertl kits. The Ertl Extensible flatbed had plastics logos like the new trailer. At some point, someone will have to offer a more detailed reefer unit with decals. The kit Thermo King appears extremely rudimentary.
  15. Well worth the wait. No sleeper?
  16. I have no idea why people are intimated by an MRI. I had a ruptured disc and had gotten an MRI. No problem. Unusual subject. Keep us posted.
  17. This board has become a board for car modelers that want to build an occasional big rig kit.
  18. Ah, yea... And we can't move them either, so the idea is incomplete.
