No missed opportunity. It was stated in an earlier Great Dane update that the the wheels from the Lonestar would be used on the reefer for cost reasons. There are excellent resin steel wheels available from a number of aftermarket suppliers for reasonable prices.
Moebius definitely, Italeri, for some reason lately they seem to be having problems issuing new kits. Revell just reconstituted both their US and German operations. Technically they are in a position to offer some new tools.
No, but a Russian modeler modified the Italeri 5964 hood to a 4900 hood. With some effort you could do the same.

The Italeri Western Star, the 4900 and 5964 do need a rear cab panel that is not included in the kit to convert it to a day cab. Auslowe makes it. Kit Form Services offers it or possible Sourkraut has restocked it.

I've always thought that KWs were the styling leader at PACCAR. Their designs appeared more thought out. Peterbilt's seemed like an afterthought in their updating appearance. With the price of fuel, the future is areo!
