I can only go by the box Art that says 53. I’m not very familiar with that panel truck. Bill

No. The doors don’t open.

All I can say is WOW and I guess I will have to find another hobby. Bill -
To get the front end lowered, I shortened the shock towers and removed some of the fire wall area. It will take some work to get the fire wall looking clean again. Also, I placed the dash in the car to check the fit. It doesn't even come close. Bill

Hi Rob, The kit is a a gasser, but it comes with a stock front suspension. To lower the front end, I had to cut down the firewall and lower the shock towers. I will post a picture when I get home. Bill

Hi Gene, What is the title of your build. Thanks everyone for looking in. Bill

Fantastic build and I love your garage also. Bill -
Hey everyone, Starting my next adventure. Building the Revell 53 Chevy Panel. I have decided to build an alternate version. It took quite a while to get the stance the way I wanted. Bil

Thanks for the comments and encouragement. I haven’t been able to build much over the past few years, but I’ve just retired, so I plan to knock the rust off and get back to building. Thanks, Bill

I agree, but most of the trim would be less than 1/32”. That would be hard for me to do. If it is wider, it would take away from the realism also. I may try to paint the trim on.

Finished my 49 Ford Coupe. It came from the AMT Gas Man kit. Nice kit. The kit offers lots of options. Bill

Thanks. Kind of surprised at how brittle the clear plastic was. Bill

While I am deciding how to finish the Camaro, I was looking at the unfinished models I need to finish. I was thinking of finishing my 49 Ford. What do you all think. Bill

Well.... as I was cutting the windshield from the parts tree, it cracked. I can say that is the first time I have ever done that. I always use a razor saw to cut clear parts from the trees. Don't know why, but this time I used my side cutters and this was the result. Now I have to figure what to do. More to come, maybe. Bill

Lou, Great build. Thanks for the info on where to get all of the aftermarket parts. Bill

A little more work. Started working on the frame. Notice the second picture. The frame is twisted. I hope when I install the shock it will force the frame down. If not, I will apply a little heat to pull it into place. Also, a little more work on the motor. Bill

Spent a lot of time getting the hood to fit good. There was a 1/32"gap in the front center fit up and I had to shim up both rear corners of the hood to get it to sit right. I also started the motor. The motor and transmission are molded as one piece. Overall, the quality of the kit is pretty good. Bill

Started on the body. It was molded in 3 pieces. The front and rear end is molded separate. The fit is pretty good. It will only need a little filler and some sanding. Bill

Hey Guys, Haven't built anything in a while. Starting the Monogram Frank Iaconio Pro-Stock Camaro. I haven't been able to find very many pictures or information on this Camaro, so I will just use the box art and the few pictures I did find as a guide. Bill
