  1. Nice job on both of them, Chris!
  2. Nice job, Mark! Paint looks great on the body and chassis details.
  3. So far, so good Brett! That was a cool looking funnycar in it's day.
  4. Great job Daryl! Love those Ramchargers funnies.
  5. Nice job, Chris! Paint looks flawless and those decals look spot-on!
  6. Really nice job on both of those, Chris!
  7. The craftsmanship on this build is just off the charts, Dave! Great job Sir!
  8. Great job! The detail work and choice of colors on the frame & engine are very nice.
  9. Very nice, clean box-stock build Bruce!
  10. You got the stance on this perfectly. Paint, decals and overall build look fantastic!
  11. Nice video, Dave. Always amazes no matter how many times I've seen this happen.
  12. Fantastic work, Tyrone! Your builds have been of very high quality for a long time, but I can see the subtle improvements in each sucessive model. Keep up the great work!
  13. Great glue-bomb save, Niko! I like the extra detailling you added to your build.
  14. Nice job. Paint turned out well!
  15. Yes, that's a battery. And yes, the real Mickey Thompson funnycar had one.
  16. Great job! Nice touch throughout!
  17. Carl, I'll echo what everyone above has said. What were the difficulties you experienced while building this kit? Well done!
  18. In the Los Angeles area, Pegasus Hobbies is a real nice place. They have kits and lots of aftermarket stuff. Take the I-10 east to the town of Montclair. They have a website with directions.
  19. VERY nice job! I especially like the toned-down tires. They're not shiney like many of the builds I see. Great work, Sir!

The decal issue aside, this turned out really well..! Very clean build!
  21. Hey, thanks again Chris and Mitch! Chris, the color is just Tamiya Metallic Blue for the chassis. Of course, I buried it in clear coat because I knew how much handling it was going to need while completing it! Mitch, that's a fine build you've got there. I too, scratchbuild a lot of things that can be purchased from aftermarket suppliers because of the costs involved. I don't build for contests anymore, so a lot of pieces I use can be purchased from inexpensive outlets like fabric stores, craft stores, etc.. They're cheap, and they're good enough for me.

  23. Here are some updated pics of my Radici & Wise build. Progress has been VERY slow.
  24. Thanks Chris & Mitch. Mitch, those are Detail Master combination fittings that have been separated. I use solder or pliable wire to make the angled fittings. It's easy to separate the fittings. Just roll the fitting on your workbench with an exacto blade and they come apart easily.
