  1. Lou, if you want to build a decent representation of the Mongoose II Duster, then just buy one of the McEwen Navy Dusters that are still on the shelves of your local hobby store. That model will be the closest you'll come to replicating the Hot Wheels Duster. I built this one (albeit with a few modifications) a while ago with a similar kit to start with.
  2. Agreed. Very clean with just the right amount of detail. Great job!
  3. Awesome build Steve. High quality and super detailed as I've come to expect from you!
  4. Great job! I wish the NHRA would've kept this class.

Love the concept Brett. Great job sir!
  6. Fantastic job on both of them John!
  7. I tackled this one too, and the hinge for the front is still a work in progress.
  8. Turned out very well! I thought for a second that the first pic was a reference photo of the real thing.
  9. I use EasyOff oven cleaner and it works great. Just be sure to use some rubber gloves when you handle them after spraying. You'll want to rinse them thoroughly after the cleaner's done it's job. Real corrosive stuff, but it won't affect the plastic.
  10. Outstanding Derrick! Very clean, and the engine detail is just right.
  11. Awesome Kevin! Loved the movie, and this is one outstanding build!
  12. The paint and especially the BMF trim are very well done. Makes this build look more like a 1:1 because it's not overdone. Great job!
  13. Both are very nice! I especially like the Marines F/C. Very nice detail and very clean build.
  14. Motors look great, John. Nice touch on the weathering.
  15. Great job, John! Super-clean build.
  16. Looks fantastic Brad! I like the color scheme and the detail you put into this build. Great job, man!
  17. Outstanding build! Love those wire wheels.
  18. Beautiful, Dave! Well done Sir.
  19. Great job, Dave. You've been busy!
  20. Awesome, Dave!
  21. From the only body-up pic I've seen of this car, the interior tin looks black to me Steve.
  22. I would say that the Tamiya TS-23 Light Blue would be close enough.
  23. Great job, John!
