  1. That paint turned out awesome, Derrick! Almost looks like Petty blue.
  2. Beautiful build you've got there Louie! Love the details, and the paint/decals look fantastic.
  3. Love your version of this classic digger, John. Paint looks great, using the Halibrand rears was a much better choice than those kit-supplied eight hole rims, and the engine is wired correctly for the 392. Great job, sir!
  4. Very nice job! Great looking paint.

Tom, it's just Tamiya clear green over Tamiya silver. I cleared it with Testors Wet Look. Aaron

Ken, those are from a Slixx decal sheet. I lightly sprayed them with Dullcote after I applied them. Thanks again for the comments everyone!

An (almost) box stock buildup of one of my favorite kits from my childhood days. Had to replace the kit headers with some parts box pieces when the originals kept breaking apart while trying to drill them out. Other than that, nuthin but kit pieces. Hope you like.
  9. Hal, check with Tom Neu. If anyone has it locally, it would be him.
  10. Looks like an RV from some post-apocolyptic movie. I like it too!
  11. Great looking build, Darryl..! Do you have a pic of it finished with the front clip on?
  12. Great job on this Wayne! I'll echo what Richard said about the slicks. Sure would be cool for some resin mfg to come up with some slicks at speed. Wonderful dio.
  13. Missed the point, Dan. HE will know it's there, and thats the reason for doing it. Besides, if he documents everything he's done (with pictures, of course!) that would be sure to impress a judge whether he knows anything about funnycars or not. Just my 2 cents.
  14. Those turned out great, Chuck!
  15. Outstanding! I have one thats about 70% done, and seeing yours gives me the incentive to finally finish it. Again, great build!
  16. I've wondered about that myself, Chuck. I always assumed that I'd have to use some styrene and fill those wheel wells in to return it to a more stock appearance. Thanks for the idea!
  17. Just confirmed on their website. Great news!!
  18. Your best work to date, Dave! The detail, the color choices...everything just clicks and looks fantastic. Beautiful model, Sir!
  19. Those look great, Chuck. Ditto on what Casey said about the headlights/grille. They look WAY better than the kit-issued ones.
  20. Lookin' good, Brett. The Billy Meyer Mustang turned out great!
  21. Good job on this. The paint and decals turned out great!
  22. Mark, your Prudhomme wedge is outstanding! The detail is great, and the body looks spot on. You might be able to piece the decals together from the decals that Chuck Boerner makes.
  23. And here's the last set...
