  1. Real nice job on this, Jesse!
  2. Thanks Dave. I'm building a 1/16 Radici & Wise Vega right now. Revell body, Chuck Boerner decals and a scratchbuilt chassis. These pics are a little dated as I've made progress since they were taken. Have a great time at Maple Grove. That track is one of the fastest on the NHRA schedule, and I'm sure you'll see some record runs.
  3. Very cool and unique build, Bruce. I love that profile pic of the car with the wing on it. Great job!
  4. Mitch, all my builds have Tamiya rattle can paint jobs. The bantam has a silver base, and I topped it off with their clear red. Some of my models were cleared with Tamiya's Pearl Clear to give them a sort of 'metallic' finish. Nothing fancy at all. Thanks to you, and everyone above for their comments!
  5. Thanks for the comments, everyone!
  6. Love it, John! Green Elephant was always one of my favorite FC's growing up!
  7. Here's some builds of mine that were posted many moons ago. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v464/dragracing/Drag%20Racing%20Models/PC210243.jpg
  8. Very nicely done, Marcos! Box stock can be beautiful if it's done cleanly, and yours certainly is.
  9. Turned out beautiful, Dave!
  10. One of my all-time favorite floppers. As always, you did it justice, John! Great build!!
  11. I like this a lot! That's the way a Willys is supposed to look!
  12. Very nicely done! I like the modifications you've done. They really make this a standout model!
  13. Nice job Brett!
  14. Echo what everyone else has said. Super clean build with superb detailing. Great job!
  15. Nice job, Paul. Well done sir!
  16. I really like the body mods, David. That thing looks fast just sitting there!
  17. Um, where does the driveshaft figure into your design?
  18. I lost all respect for Force after he took that POORLY executed dive at Indy a few years back just to get his son-in-law Robert Hight into the Countdown. To Roberts credit, he made the most of it by winning the championship. But Tony Pedregon hit the nail on the head (and he had a perfect right to since he was the designated team loser on many occasions when he drove for Force) when he called Force out on the dive. To this day, Force has never manned-up and admitted it.
  19. Great job, Ken! OK, so even if it isn't an "exact" replica, you still captured the essence of this car perfectly. Outstanding sir!
  20. The link works for me. I've already ordered and received my first batch of goodies from Chucks website. High quality resin and decals, too.
  21. Beautiful job, Mark! Very clean detailing and the paint/decal placement is spot-on. Congrats on a fine build Sir!
  22. Great job, John! Don't think I've ever seen this one posted before.
  23. Love the paint detailing on this. Great job!
  24. The model that had Harry originally questioning the use of a battery in a funnycar was based on the Mickey Thompson titanium Pinto from the 1970-71 seasons. If you do a Google image search for it, you'll see the battery on the real thing.
