Has anyone found a tire that fits this kit?

The tires are very soft rubber 2 piece from the 70's. The tampo looks good but is on the wrong side, you cant make logos on the outside of each tire , and mine was short shot on 1 side. The plastic is very rubber like . The decals look very nice.

Will we ever see the Monogram S-10 again?
Cliff Dagger replied to Jim H.'s topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
When did the S-10 molds get shipped to China ? Wasn’t the last issue the low rider 3 in 1 ? -
Dose anyone make gold Firebird decals ? I really like the Revell Smokey and the Bandit kit but the decals have the black between the pinstripes, I want to make one in metallic brown with gold pinstripes . I’ve tried citing the black out of the decals but I just end up ruining the gold Thanks

Corona Virus (Covid 19) and Model Kits
Cliff Dagger replied to Daddyfink's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
The Revell Chevy Luv has a little “ Molded in USA “ on the box on Modelroundups website I thought all revell production was shipped to Poland and China now , is this because of the virus or was this planned before ? -

Are the Revell and Esci Escort the same kit ? -
Cant blame this one on the Chinese , this kit is made in USA, just the tires one from China ,it's also the first kit to have the " West Chicago " sticker , at least the first I've seen . So it could be a brand new factory , they may not know when to pull them out ? the plastic feels the same as the rest of the America kits theve made the last few years , the 77 Chevy van , 77 GMC wrecker , and the 80 Ford Bronco , the Chinese plastic is a lot softer and more " milky " looking , I bought mine from HL and the body is straight but my roof has a little dip in it .

This has potential to affect new kit arrivals

So you are saying that Revell and Round 2 are flat out lying ?i have not been to these factories or interviewed employes that work there but I turst what they print on the box , mostly because you can tell by the look of the plastic . Revell kits made here are of a stiffer plastic and more pure white . The china ones are softer plastic and more milky white . -

I only buy kits made in USA .maybe it's time to switch all production back over here . -
I build anything from the mid 70's to mid 80's , that's my favorite era of anything Cars , music, movies etc... So when I'm working on a 1980 Bronco listening to Motley Crue , with a Hunter DVD on the TV it's 1982 agin for me. I also have this weird thing were I look at something and think about how it would look in different colors , model kits are a great way to have 20 1980 Ford Broncos each in a different color .

I like it to have the Good Year logo and name , but I really want the tires and wheels to fit together , some of the current kits I've tired to build the wheels are to small . Or I guess the tires are to big , or cut to big. I remember when the amt tires came solid and you had to cut out the centers yourself now there all cut out for you.
