  1. I think I know because the face and.....um......the face looks familiar. She looks like Dolly Parton from sometime in the mid-late 1960s. Actually, the forehead and grin are similar. If it's not, then I'll deny hazarding a guess.
  2. Sure it was. Remember the Johnny Eagle guns? Also, the parent company was Deluxe Reading, makers of the Crusader 101 that I and another poster mentioned. Topper made Johnny Lightning cars, Suzy Homemaker, the Johnny Seven O.M.A. (One Man Army) and Johnny Eagle Lieutenant M14 rifles, definite must-haves for all young Cold War commie killers in training: Do you remember this? My friends and I had all this great cra-p. We were armed to the teeth and ready for any possible attack. Well, that's not completely accurate. There was one enemy who we feared more than the evil communist hordes from Eastern Europe, and he was called "Beast". Beast was the only adversary who was able to thwart our attacks and keep us at bay. See, Beast had a BB rifle which he used on us whenever we went through his backyard during our wargames. All of the backyards for four square blocks were interconnected and it made for great times playing army, hot peas n' butter, team tag with almost one hundred kids involved and other property-intrusive fun.
  3. Yeah.....I guess you're right. She sorta does look like her. Actually, that's Linda Brier from Driggs Avenue. She used to hang out with my older sister over at the Driftwood Inn and Goodman's Bar & Grill back in the early-mid '60s.
  4. Anyone recognize her?
  5. That's the old broad who runs the Park Slope Food Co-op.
  6. Well, IMDb trivia sez:
  7. Nancy Kwan. She was great in "The World of Suzie Wong". I told you guys that I watch waaaaay too much TV.
  8. Irene Granny Clampett" Ryan. She was in "Reveille With Beverly" which was on TV last week and I mentioned the movie in response to the Ann Miller picture.
  9. I missed that picture. That's Tina Cole. She played Rob Douglas' wife on "My Three Sons". She also was on "Hawaiian Eye". I have the series on DVD.
  10. Julie London. She was Jack Webb's ex-wife. She sang "Cry Me A River" in "The Girl Can't Help It". Jayne Mansfield was in the film too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDO1a1QqJao
  11. Kim Delaney from NYPD Blues.
  12. She played Sarah Connor on that Terminator TV series on Fox. The name will probably come to me after somebody else mentions it.
  13. Madeleine Stowe. She's been subbing for Robert Osborne on TCM this weekend.
  14. That really sucks. There is absolutely no excuse for such bad service. One thing I do if going to a restaurant and I notice the service is bordering on bad to non-existent is to place a pile of bills on the table in the server's presence when I'm ready to order. I then tell him/her that this is the tip; and, if at anytime during my meal I feel the service doesn't meet my standards, the pile will become progressively smaller. They don't like it; but, I always get good service. They want that tip more than they hate me at that moment.
  15. So is the 2016 Tina Turner.
  16. One of my favorite films.
  17. I'm a member of the Classic Horror Film Board and I remember that thread. It's not Thordis Brandt. Her schnozz is a lot bigger and has thinner lips than the woman in the white dress. Another possibility, as was mentioned here in a previous post, is Lee Parrish. I understand your point about the footage; but, the clips from the opening credits were all taken from the first season episodes which were already in the can before the show debuted on Sept. 16, 1967.
  18. Rachel Ward.................
  19. Diane (Marguerite Empey) Weber's father was Arthur Guy Empey. Artie did it all. He was an American soldier in the British Army during WWI, author, actor, screenwriter and movie producer. I have two of his books, "Over The Top" and "The Madonna of the Hills: A Story of a New York Cabaret Girl".
  20. Not a problem, Scott.
  21. Just give him a light coat of tuna fish oil and he's good to go. TEEN EXPLOITATION MOVIE ALERT!!!!!!! "High School Hellcats", starring Yvonne Lime is on right now on TCM!!!!! MUST-SEE-TV!!!!!
  22. I'd like to, Bill; unfortunately, I'm drycleaning my cat, Fmeep, at the moment
  23. Barbara Steele. Patty McCormack was perfect in "The Bad Seed".
  24. Since you seem like a good egg, I spent the last 6 hours combing through a list of everyone who has ever appeared on "Mannix. The woman in the white tennis outfit to which you refer is in this picture: I narrowed the possibilities to three blondes who appeared in the first season. The reason that I chose the first season is because that is where the clips for the opening credits are from. Anyway, here are the three possible candidates: Laraine Stephens Brooke Bundy Jennifer Billingsley
