  1. I wonder if they do a roof rack for this?
  2. A face only a mother could love
  3. Really loved the Sciirroco until I took a 15km ride in the back of one. Hitched a lift home in a Toyota Carina. Still think the Sci Roccet out-cools a Golf (Rabbit). Love what you are doing here.
  4. Well I've tried searching again since you published the answer, and it seems that if you don't include "Cerva C" or "Zen Classic" in your search terms, you would have to be very lucky to find it. It does appear in a couple of " ugliest car" lists, but even that didn't work for me. As a matter of interest, I thought that most of the "ugly cars" (apart from the Aztek) were pretty cool!
  5. Suzuki Cuervo C? Even now I know what it is, it's still difficult to find! I'd assumed it was the work of a third party operator like Mitsuoka or somebody rather than a factory model. Even so, I spent time looking at Suzuki and still didn't find it. Must try harder. Well done Ken, an excellent subject. Dave
  6. I give up, don't know what it is and can't find it. I will have to wait until Friday to be put out of my misery, but I really can't spend anymore time looking. Well done Ken!
  7. I really should try to get out more!
  8. The Profile was a cabriolet variation of the Glenfrome Facet. I don't know the exact production numbers, but there are suggestions on the web that together, 50 or more examples were built. Peteski's reference to the Juke was interesting, if you made a small model of the Juke out of Lego, it would probably look a lot like this.
  9. This is why you shouldn't put a GMC coe through the truck wash!
  10. It's probably because they are so rare and therefore less familiar, but the '42s (of all varieties) seem to have been particularly good looking. A vintage year.
  11. How do you tell the difference between a Velox and a Wyvern?
  12. That is amazing!
  13. Thank goodness I've found it, getting really bored looking at orange sports cars!
  14. Thanks Matt, apparently these things are gaining interest, so if you want one, buy it now. Dave
  15. I reckon that was the same guy who built my house.
  16. I'd love this to be a model, but I haven't found any positive evidence either way, so I'm saying real.
  17. This thing has probably had a good thump on the front at some time so the inclined radiator made me think it was much later than it actually is. I eventually found it using more or less the technique described by Ken, but I admit there was an element of luck involved.
  18. This hand goes to the dealer I reckon. Well done Ken.
  19. Got it! Unfortunately I'm still suffering from slow internet so I gave in to temptation and cheated. I hereby disqualify myself from Auto ID #216. Sorry.
  20. I spent more than two days searching for this and I'd almost given up, then out of the blue I chanced upon it whilst researching something else. Now it seems to be everywhere I look. Asking the right question is critical.
  21. So it's not a roll bar then?
  22. You wouldn't want to test that roll bar.
  23. The Italians didn't seem very big on rust proofing, I had a Fiat 124 Sport on which both the clutch and brake pedals disappeared through the bulkhead, it wasn't that old at the time. Lancia bought back most of the Beta models sold in the UK during the 70's for the same reason. Maybe it doesn't rain in Italy? Thinking back, the number of rusty Italian cars I've worked on is only surpassed by the number of rusty British cars I've resurrected. The Italian cars tended to handle better though?
  24. Beautiful car, shame they pulled the plug on it. I wonder if it could have made it as a niche model? Probably would have suffered from the same badge snobbery that blighted the Pantera.
