  1. Nice deuce , you nailed the stance . Jeff .
  2. I'm glad I had some AMT vickys , the lakes pipes fit great . Cylinder spacing looks spot on . Thanks Jeff .
  3. Thanks everyone , David the decals are from Slixx . Here is a shot of the injection base in raw form . If it turns your crank build it , Jeff .
  4. It sure turned out nice , great job ! Jeff .
  5. My mind started wandering this weekend as I looked at a can of Tamiya olive drab . I opened a Revell 32 5 window that I had chopped years before , grabbed the hiboy deuce rolling stock and started mock up . I'll 8 stack the 392 hemi and use the lakes exhaust from the AMT phantom Vicky . Thanks looking in , Jeff .
  6. Still hoping for 33 - 34 Fords , in four or five variants . Jeff .
  7. Great job all the way around !
  8. Here is a shot of mine , a friend at work did the computer work . Tim Boyd . You inspire us to somehow get to a better detail level . Thank you Jeff .
  9. Love it Tulio ! Glad to see a little part swapping going on . My Cloud Mist Gray must have taken me six months at least LOL . AMT can't match the details of the resent Revell offerings either . Did Tim's Scale Auto build light the fire ? Jeff .
  10. Thanks everyone , it humbles and inspires me . There is so much talent here . Jeff .
  11. Even before the Green coupe was finished I knew the the Dave Lane built 32 was just as cool . I already had this slightly chopped body that I never completed . There's an old story . If got grabber orange , Tamiya dark yellow and their camel yellow for some color choices . Also ordered all the Pegasus wire wheels that Modelroundup had . Remember build for yourself , Jeff .
  12. I've been working on this for a month now , a quick build for sure .
  13. Closer now , one bite at a time . I turned some mufflers and used 3/32 solder for the pipes . Thanks again Jeff .
  14. KK , glad to see that your close to final assembly . Looking great buddy . Jeff .
  15. Thank you Tulio for sharing your very nice builds . I spent a fair amount of time on Google when I did my 40 standard , and say the gauge decal mistake . Has anyone " Tim " ever talked to Revell about their errors . Such as Bronco wheels & hubcaps and so on . I am a big Revell supporter for all of the NEW subjects . But they must employ someone who's never seen a car . My two cents . Jeff .
  16. Very nice , Very sharp , Very clean .
  17. Love that tall n narrow back tire . Hot rods need the visual difference from front to back . Jeff .
  18. Got the new smaller base pieces done , finished the intricate porting for the over under intake ports . I made stacks out of K&S 3/32 tube . No they are not rivets . Slowly getting there . Thanks for looking in Jeff .

  20. Thank you Joao and Tim , I use a Bridgeport with X Y nc programs . The bases were too large , downsized and made new parts . no big deal , gave the first ones to a friend . Jeff .
  21. I finally made up my mind on the injection bases . They will mount to the intake surface of the heads leaving the lifter valley cover exposed . The AMT metal stacks are too tall for this car so I'll make some out of 3/32 tube . Everyone have have a wonderful Thanksgiving . Jeff .
  22. Yep one of my favorites . Look at at the date on the box , those early kits had option parts not seen for many years . Jeff .
  23. Cool project indeed . I picked one of these also but no spark yet . Although this might do it ! Jeff .
