  1. Those vans are so cool. Way too bad you had to start over
  2. JT, you need to share this over on the truck board so that the folks over there can get this neat idea. Thanks.
  3. Here is the Model King ramp bed on a late model Chevy that I bashed together a while back using a resin cab and the bunk off an AMT Kenworth. . I filled in the tandem wheel wells for a single rear axle.
  4. Finished. These are Plastruct ladders cut to length and painted. They can't be nested together to make extension ladders exactly but are pretty close. Mock up.
  5. Thanks for the tip JT. I got some b4 Christmas and they look good in a variety of settings. I will be getting more and repainting them for multiple uses.
  6. The MPC Dodge pickup kits are some I would sure like to see reissued. They would be a good base for resin modifications and updates.
  7. I really wish a one of the photo-etch companies would make the Fury/Sport Fury side trim and scripts. I have several Johan 64 Plymouths that I would like to turn into replicas of my 1:1 Sport Fury.
  8. That's an amazing beast!! Very cool build.
  9. American Expedition Vehicles I believe had a 4 door kit for the TJ a few years ago.
  10. The front axle is shown at the bottom of the picture that Chad posted. It is a decent representation, has the steering and lower control arms molded on. The MP Jeep is just a quick respray, change of tires and some small added details. The TR TJ family:
  11. For all of the Jeep modelers out there this kit is very exciting. It is a nice representation of the TJ series and will be the start of many different Jeep builds. I think the tires will end up on a lot of other builds. I have done the TR kit with the metal body and the all plastic kit will e much easier to modify. I foresee a lot of Hemi swaps which is happening in the 1:1 world as well. Here is one I did of the metal kit.
  12. That's a great start on the F150. For the white stripe on my FS builds I used my wife's scrapbooking photo trimmer and cut strips off some scrap white ink jet decal paper, instant stripes any width.
  13. At the LHS recently I found a Walthers HO scale locomotive engine kit that I think will make a 1/25 scale towable genset. It will take a lot of additional detailing.
  14. Moved to Under Glass http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=75056
  15. The van is as done as it will be for a while. Rebuilt grill, ladders and rack, computer printed decals. It needs a little more weathering and some other details I missed till I saw the pics of it.
  16. Some of them looked that way 5 months after they were new
  17. A short Jeep hauling trailer cut down from the Revell bass boat trailer.
