The build was amazing. I had a customer who bought basically anything I cast and had them professionally built for his collection.

Ray's Kits did the decals for it. This was professionally built from one of my resins a couple of years ago (not by me).

Slow progress on this one. I cast the interior and fitted it all together. Painted it a matte black with black embossing powder for carpet (still not a fan). Detail painted with Molotow ink. Still need to do seat belts. Detailed the engine and fitted it to the frame then glued the tub to the frame Now finish the wiring, detail the brakes, put valve stems in the wheels then paint the body. Revell chrome on the bumpers and bare metal foil trim.

Florida Highway Patrol had a version of the same thing. One guy standing on an overpass with a radar gun and several pursuit Mustangs lined up on the on ramp. Fly past the radar, he radios down and the pursuit cars shoot down the on ramp. Pretty effective.

This sounds exactly like my experience. Buyer did not ship, repeated emails, Paypal claim, notify EBAY, sounds like your experience. Finally got it-don't know if it was the same seller but it was when they first came out and I wanted to build one. The kit had a lot of your issues as well. The interior was wrong for a GS, so I made my own. The chassis has no detail so I used a 68 Chevelle donor. No radiator. The front suspension would not work because the control arms were printed wrong. I had the same rear bumper issues. A little grinding on the underside of the deck lid and I got the rear bumper where it needed to be. Front bumper went into a hot water bath a couple of times to bend it to fit. If you look at the hood, the body lines should flare out to the corners but go straight back. Another sharp builder on the board pointed that out to me so sheet plastic and putty to the rescue. I had the same hood fitment issues. I had to grind a channel across the back of the hood to get it to sit down in the rear. Basically, I ended up using the body and nothing else. I have done a lot of resin builds so I expect some fitting but this was a lot considering it is a 3D print. As a total glutton for punishment I bought another from a different seller to convert to a 68. Same issues, same result-ditching all but the body. Now, enough amplifying the kit issues. Yours turned out great! I have pictures of them in red and it really makes the body pop. Great build!

I modified a 76 NASCAR Laguna and "streetified" it to look like a car I had. I also created resin Pontiacs and Buicks before the 3D prints came out but now they are widespread, which is great!

Very nice. I had a 76 Laguna. It's nice to see the Collonade cars being 3D printed. There were never any kits except the Jo-Han Cutlass.

Was that non-US? Great build but I could never understand the mirror posts mounted on the fenders that a lot of JDM cars have. But you captured the look well!

Velocity had a JDM show on for awhile. It was cool watching them build up cars with mostly imported JDM parts. I love the look but could never get the fender mirrors-they seem out of place. Your build is very nice and captures the look perfectly.

What did you use for the red stripe? I used nail tape on mine. Decals turned out great. Do you clear coat your decals?

I actually used Rust Oleum colors on my build. The match was pretty spot on. I was a little hesitant because of how slowly it dries but I was able to mask it without issues. Are you using Tamiya for the yellow as well?

I did one a couple of years ago. Nice looking car to build. I'm sure yours will be great!

I use Mr. Surfacer fine primer or Dupli Color fill primer if I have lots of bodywork but I tape over detail places. I use OMNI acrylic enamel with medium reducer and no hardener. It sprays nicely and dries to a great gloss without clear. I have a paint supply place that will mix it in 2 ounce touch up bottles and they are cheap. They can't mix lacquer anymore because of VOC regs.
