What color tan did you use for the interior? -

Are you going to paint the sun visors with your interior paint? I am going to use that color on a build-it looks like GM Dark Saddle. Great looking car.

Actually not. A friend bought a kit from me and opened up the hood as well s the T tops. The bigger challenge would be the chassis so you could see the engine. -

If you want curbside, 77 Monte Carlo. Open hood would require some work-maybe start with a 70-72 Cutlass. -

Finally, after about a year, got my 76 Grand Prix project done. First casting has some bubbles but the shape turned out pretty good.

Made some progress after being away for awhile. Final sculpting, cleaning up lines, scribing and then mold making. A few final details to hammer out here and this one is in the books.

I ordered some BOP Quadrajets. Great detail and they will look great when installed. Very nice products. -
I have 73 Grand Am, 74/75 Grand Am, 77 Can Am (which could be built as a LeMans) and 77 Leans 4 door sedan (the "Smokey" car). I also have a kit to make a 73 GTO/Lemans with the GA and interior kits for all but the sedan (console, dash, bucket seats, door panels, tub) if you want to build a stocker. They are gravity cast from hand made prototypes I built and I do them when I get some spare time. I am finishing a 76 Grand Prix to cast soon with interior kit as well (dash, console, buckets, door panels, rear tub).

Heading into the home stretch on this one. Bumpers, trim, headlights and tail lights, tightening up the body lines. Almost done.
-
Sweet. I remember this topic and was in the beginning stages of my project when I saw it. Very nice work, much better than mine!

I have one already. I want to do a 73 Gran Sport. I already have lots of pictures and several JoHan Cutlass donor cars.
-
Kevin, send me pictures. That body style is on my "to do" list!
-
Already owned one. Now have a 73 Grand Am sedan. Had a 73 GA 2 door and sold it to buy the 4 door. Pictures are model version versus real thing.

Long term I want to keep doing collonade cars. I want to do a 73 Buick GS and a 77 Cutlass 442. The Jo-Han cars have the wheelbase and for some of the cars the basic roof line. I used that for my Grand Am/LeMans/GTO cars. This keeps me out of trouble and is fun to do. The Pontiacs are really hard because of the complex body lines. At some point I will do a 73 Chevelle SS as well.

More progress. Shortened the front fenders-my scale was off. Re-did the hood as a result. Have most of the driver's side done. I need marker lights and door handle/locks. Passenger side is in body sculpting phase. I hope to have this in resin soon.

Making progress. Smoothing the body, sculpting body lines, checking the shape, and scribing in openings. Also working on details (marker lights, tail lights, door handles and locks). I hope to be done soon and creating the molds.
