  1. Evergreen makes assortment packs of sheets and strips. might not be bad first buys and then you can refill the ones which seem to suit your needs. try #9002 & #9008
  2. is it just those little bumpy things everyone's in a tizzy? good grief.
  3. if you're serious - and i never know when you guys are jerking my chain - the photo etch bomber seats by wild hare products / ken hamilton have a bunch of cobwebs on the "etch fret". try saying that 3 times fast!
  4. after stripping, i've used a brass toothbrush to dislodge the underchrome goop. what stays after that either gets sanded or painted over and then life moves forward.
  5. transmogrifier. 1932 vintage. 1 of only 317 ever made. very rare click button to "buy it now"
  6. needs more co ... cobwebs!
  7. i agree. and then there are those that remind us why we build: http://www.doozymodelworks.com/works.html
  8. so scan & email isn't allowed? what happens if the faxee has had his land line removed as considered redundant to his phmart sone?
  9. if you guys are going to introduce logic into this thread, i'm taking my Army soldiers and going home.
  10. not at all. could you reference anywhere i have adamantly stated how everyone should follow my way of thinking? although i do believe i've mention name-calling doesn't serve much purpose.
  11. carrying around all that self-righteous indignation. the world isn't going to conform to your specifications, and continuing to beat that drum is only going to make your arm tired.
  12. doesn't it get awfully cumbersome?
  13. i think oftimes people focus on minutiae in an effort to have control over some part of their lives. i do; that's why my model railroad is perfect (in my eyes). everybody has something. some people talk to dogs, some people polish doorknobs. it all helps us get through the day.
  14. perhaps. but they certainly spend an inordinate amount of time telling how "expert" they are.
  15. i dunno. i think he's calling it the way he sees it.
  16. no kiddin'. Family Protective Services. you might want to file a report with the police in the event of blowback. "let no good deed go unpunished"
  17. i fear more the people who volunteer all they know without provocation
  18. i don't think it's fair for you to be the official appointed spokesperson anymore than you think people are laughing at you at shows.
  19. did the new moderator position get filled? seems like everyone got cranky as soon as schools let out and the weather got nice. not just here, but other forums and in real life. somewhere i read a signature line to the effect "we have everything and we're all still miserable". appears to be the case everywhere i turn. is no one happy? not a barrage of defensive "i'm really happy" responses needed. the underlying tone belies them all. carry on.
  20. glad we got that decal thing worked out; a real cliffhanger it was. https://cliffhanger
  21. we can turn this into a project:
  22. apparently if the decals are kewel, the kit will fly off the sheleves (sic)
  23. at that age, every minute counts.
