Good luck,Robert.I think it's a great idea,and I hope you're able to turn your dream into reality.I live in Pocatello also,and I'm sure I'll be a regular visitor if you're able to get this off the ground. I just checked your profile and it says that you are 99 years old(can this be right?).If this is this is true,I'm amazed that you still have a year and a half before can retire!!!!As far as I'm concerned,anyone who is still trying to make a dream come true (or anything else)at 100 years old,is allright with me.What do you attribute your longevity to(model building,maybe)?If I can ever be of any help,let me know.

The rear tire needs some air.I think it's real.

I had a '69 Superbee with a 383 when I was a kid,and the engine was hemi orange.But I had a friend with a '69 GTX and his 383 was blue.I never did figure out why some were different colors.

That's cool.I loved NASCAR back when you could tell what kind of car they were driving(and none of them were Toyotas).

Try checking out a restaurant supply store.They have little paper lace doilies that come in different shapes and sizes and are very thin.They are used under dessert dishes and on bread plates ,etc.in nice restaurants.I haven't tried it myself but I bet they'd work great. Rich

What kit is this? I need a Cuda with the hood scoop like that to reproduce the '73 I owned . I have the AMT snap kit but it has the flat hood molded in.

That's one nice Chevy!!! I love the rally wheels and color combo on this car(I can see it with a white top).It's hard to go wrong with a '61, I think it might be the best looking year of all the Impalas.Great job.

I really like this,the color and paint job look great,and it's a very unusual car. The only problem I have with it is the tail lights.They tend to mess-up the otherwise smooth body sides and don't really match the shape of the fenders.I would have prefered them frenched into the rear of the fenders or maybe even in the panel between the trunk and bumper.It's still a good job on a very cool car.

Here's some cool Tommy trivia for you. Tommy was sent home form high school by one of his teachers when he was about 16 or 17 and told not to return untill he cut his hair.Tommy went home,packed some clothes,his guitar,and as much money as he could scrape togeather and caught a Greyhound bus to Denver .The rest is history. Tommy was on track to becoming the next Jimi Hendrix when he (like Jimi) was taken from us far too soon.Thank God for the music he left us with so we can still listen to and remember a better time in life. I didn't know that Little Feat's drummer was from Iowa,I thought they were all from Georgia or somewhere down south(love that Dixie Chicken).

There's one more great man I know of from Iowa.......MEEEEE. LOL I grew up in Sioux City(actually knew Tommy Bolin's younger brother).It's cool that someone else knew who he was!!!!

It looks a lot like the one that Barry White did on the Wrecks to Riches TV show a while back. Very cool.

If you look at the rear fenders,and look at the front fenders,the proportions are pretty close to the same with the rear fenders on backwards. Maybe Ford put them on wrong????

My hard drive crashed and burned about 6 weeks ago so I've been out of commission ever since.Lucky for me it was still under warrenty,but it took forever for them to send a new one. Now all I need to do is find the time to catch-up on everything I've missed. Looks like the site is still smokin' and I'm glad to finally get back on-line. Peace-out. Rich

Thats a great build of a great kit.I see in the new Revel catalog that they are coming out with a new hardtop version of the 55. Anybody seen or heard anything about this kit ?
