  1. I'm working on the 35 Chevy sedan early modified dirt track racer and while painting all the parts, I realized that it was missing the front axel. I dug out the 40 Ford I have in the stash, (because it has the exact same chassis)to steal the axel from that, but that one is also missing the same part! Does anyone know where I might be able to get these replaced? Should I contact Model King, Dirtrack Racecars, or AMT? Thanks,Rich
  2. I think it might be blue.
  3. The one that I got at Hobby Lobby was priced at $26.99 ($16.19 with 40% off).
  4. Yeah.......I know that, just making a comment.
  5. I bought one at Hobby Lobby yesterday, before it even hit the shelf. It was in a big box, near the model section, with a few airplane models, and some other stuff. It had a price of $26.99. I used the 40% coupon, got it for $16.19.
  6. Yeah that's what I was wondering about. I can always use another set.
  7. Why are there 2 sets of steel wheels?
  8. The kit that I've got from 2005 (brown car on box) has the vinyl top.
  9. Look at a restaurant/bakery supply store for the little paper lace doilies that are used under cakes, and fancy deserts. They are very thin, and come in different shapes, and sizes.

  11. The driver figure looks kind of like Dale Earnhart.
  12. Right back at ya! Thanks Ken
  13. Do you want to part with one? I'd like to try to use a 64 Fairlane chassis on it.
  14. I could not find them on either Spotlight Hobby, or Model Roundup. Am I not looking in the right place? I'd like to find one too!
  15. I'd expect the engine to be wired for that kind of $$$.

  17. I owned a 69 Super Bee back in the early 70s. The body was bright yellow, and it had a 2 tone green vinyl interior(bench seat). Neither green was real dark, more of a light olive color with a slightly lighter green on the seat panels, and door panel trim. Rich
  18. If you buy kits from Tower Hobbies(Plastic Models), and get on their email mailing list, they will email you coupons for $15 off a $50 order. They also will occasionally have weekends with free shipping on all of their kits. If you combine those two things, you can get kits fairly cheap. I recently bought a Revell 30 Model A, and Mobius 72 Ford pickup, and a can of Tamiya spray paint for about $36.
  19. You're right Chuck,they came in the 41 Chev. pickup from 1999.
  20. I think the Revell 57 Chevy snap kit has wheels kind of like that.
  21. Pics look squeezed to me too,Harry.
