    got a kind of old union-heller 330 p4, but it was sealed in plastic coat. so I am the first person who open it in maybe so many years, i just love this feeling. also the intro book is totally yellow fade

    decals done. took me a while but finally... the decal was printed by studio27 itself, not catography or something, so it simply just like Tamiya self-made decals, easy to be broken...

    you're right, the whole crew 3 people all Americans. The car belongs to joest racing, Germany. Maybe the whole crews are Americans so the car were named as 'spirit of America'.

    thank you guys. now updating some wheels. I use a tool by WAVE with these wheels called electroplating powder. Painted with glossy black and use this powder. I am satisfied with the results. put those wheels on a 956 I have already done before. what you guys think? I think they're pretty good.

    kind of problem then I have to wait for sometimes for my R89c. so I start this project. Spirit of America, number 8, raced in Le mans 24hours 1986. came to 3rd place. I love Porsche 956, and when I saw this number8 at the first eyesight I knew I have to make one. OK. I plan to make this buy a Tamiya Porsche 956 with studio 27 decal sheet. now I sanded the body and gave it a grey primer and painted with white. I like to put white on grey primer... I think it makes the whit looks cooler. the engine painted into gold,red and sliver. like the real one. well, that all for now. will be finished into one week.

    got the last bids I win last weekend. To be honestly, this one looks much worse than I thought... or maybe I just did so much Tamiya.. guys any idea how to deal with the metal body?? looks really shitty to me... anyway bought a Union-Heller Ferrari 330 P4 yesterday..

    nice collections! I bought 2 330 p4s by fujimi before.. but the kit itself is really not that good..So I bought another one made by union-heller... But the fujimi's box art is great..

    here if I understand right, you are about to paint some wheels and made them looks like chrome, right? If it is goes that way, I recently had another idea. I also need to paint some racing wheels and make them looks like chrome but using any 'sliver' paint not enough so I found a tool by WAVE and here is the introduction: It looks really nice and chrome , but also it is said that this tool is very toxic. So if you need use it, make sure wearing gloves and mask. Anyway I'll go try this soon and I hope this gonna help you.

    thanks pal. i'm not very that into those photo-etching parts really, but if I do not buy them then I will feel like' ohhh myyyy my model is not complete'. something like this. Can't help with my OCD problem

    just arrived a Union-Heller 512s and an upgrade of R89c and a decal sheet of A442 raced in le mans 1978.

    I won three bids last weekend. One Tamiya A442B, one union-heller 512S and one protar Lancia LC2 in a metal body. Will arrive soon.. beside of Heller Peugeot 905, I got another one...

    Thank you everyone. To Bill, I just took two-set photos of each car, one with body on and one with body off. and combine them with some photoshop software. again thanks guys
