I love this car. actually I love nearly all Nissan le mans cars... look good to me. red, white and blue, awesome! I have 2 boxes of Tamiya R89C. Really nice kits. so far, I sanded the car body and gave some primer on it.

Any better idea how to remove Tamiya TS-XX paints?
花火 replied to 花火's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
yeah. but it doesn't work on TS-XX paints at all. I also tried some DOT3 break oil. some brand just to slow and some brand doesn't even work at all. -
and a friendly welcome from China! and nice looking models you made!

Hey guys here again. I've got some OCD that I cannot accept some small mistakes on the car body so I got plenty of them waiting to be remove the paints. I usually use Tamiya spray can as TS-XX. I know how to remove them, use GAIA T-11S, it's kind of paint remover. But the q is, it only 250ml for each also expensive. So you guys know how to remove this paints? all I know, TS-XX belongs to lacquers. I did some search that oven cleaner can remove paints but it seems doesn't work on lacquers... My thanks in advance.

due to my own experiences, about 30 mins the first color could dry but it's not enough. for the safe it should be wait at least 3-5 hours.

oven cleaner..? Wow,thx. can it remove Tamiya TS paints? I mean the spray can..?
-

I hate nearly all those racing versions of gtrs by Tamiya, your R34 also the GTR R33 raced in 1995 le mans 24hours. I do really love doing decals works but those decals just too dang difficult... especially decals on the front of the car.. I decided to paint them... anyway your R34 came out with a pretty nice result! looks great
