  1. I agree with you, the chrome trim woulda looked outta place on this car. the black window trim has a nice "up dated" look. leaving them orange woulda worked as well. sometimes I leave window trim the color of the body (Eurostyle) myself. Great work!, cant wait to see it done!!
  2. Nice to see another one of your Extremely Well done cars! The colors are perfect, and the top looks great in the UP position!!
  3. I agree! VERY well done!!
  4. Thanks, JC! they look great!, I Have a Fujimi Cobra, and amongst the other problems with the kit, the tyres in it are too narrow! Since owning/building ALOT of Fujimi kits, I thought all they're kits would be great. NOT they're Cobra kits. Its a big let down. I will still build it later as a curbside build though. You are doing a Fantastic job on this car!!!!
  5. I just picked up this kit. Its my 2nd favorite Mopar next to the 70 Hemi 'Cuda! I will definitely be keeping an eye on this build!
  6. Nice idea! Q: are you using Fujimi tyres from a GT 40 kit?
  7. It looks REALLY cool!! Outstanding job!!
  8. Very, Very Cool!! -Looks like it was a fun build, Congratulations!!
  9. Still looking VERY cool!! -Well done so far!!
  10. Very nice!!, I need to find one of these myself! -doesn't it feel good to just whip something out once in a while?!
  11. The Monte Shell kit already has a nice photo etch set that comes with it!
  12. No problem, glad to help! Hobby Search is also VERY fast at delivery! every time I order, I receive it in 4 business days from Japan!! any time I order within the US, it takes a week -that's stupid.
  13. I agree 100%!!!!!!!!!

Love the colors! -Very classy build!!
  15. You did a great job! Congrats on getting another one done! im trying to get some of my "later date" builds done too. I know its gotta feel good!
  16. Agreed! you definitely scored!! That Lancia almost looks like the Tamiya version. I have that Mustang as well, and I think its a pretty decent kit, although mine has a warped roof.
  17. Love the third picture! -its crazy, but on top of building a countach like you, im also building the 1993 Monte Shell version of this kit as well This kit I will do Box Stock.
  18. Here is an awesome website to see inside the model boxes BEFORE you buy. it lays out ALL the parts, and shows every page of the instructions!! Go to Hobby Search www.1999.co.jp/eng When you get there, put in the kit and car you want to look at, and when it shows up, click on the picture of the car and enjoy!! please let me know how you like it, I think you will!!
  19. It does look great! -I've built about 4 of these in the past, and they never got easier. Unfortunately, if you wanted a detailed Countach kit this was your only option until now. I am now in the process of building the Aoshima Countach kit. You should give it a try -Its WAY better than Fujimis in most ways! Its only downfall is that it doesn't have a complete engine. Its more like 3/4 of the engine, but its done Extremely well! the valve covers and distributor are even pre-drilled for wires! When building mine, I've decided to put the Fujimis engine in the Aoshima kit! It actually fits pretty decent. Thanks for sharing this model, its my favorite car, and you did it justice! Keep the exotics coming!!
  20. VERY nice job on an EXTREMELY fussy kit!! Q: where are the front side markers and rear hood vent?
  21. Nice work!! love the tyre/wheel choice too!!
