  2. Great job!! -not a corvette guy, but if I was gonna like one, this would be it!! How would you rate this kit? BTW, im a veteran, and I think its got a really military and aggressive look!! Did you have to lower it? OUTSTANDING work!!
  3. WELCOME!! This is the best hobby! you can have more cars than Jay Leno, and you can do them YOUR WAY!!!!
  4. ADAPT AND OVERCOME!! You do VERY clean, great work!!!!
  5. THNX, Wayne!, I love REAL minis!! You are pretty lucky to be in England where they all are! Next to the Lamborghini Countach, they are my second favorite foreign car! some day I will have a real one!!
  6. Thank you, Kevin, I appreciate it! thanx for checking it out!
  7. THANX, GUYS!, sorry, I was wrong about where the wheels/tires came from in the description. I have the directions right here, and I got them, as well as the suspension parts from Aoshima kits, NOT HASEGAWA! -John, the kits are:the High Rider US Toyota 4WD Double Cab Truck, and the High Rider Hilux Surf Wide kits. hope this helps!
  8. Thank you, Harry, cant wait to see the 1/8!! -a couple more questions, do you like the Spaz Stixx over Alclad?, and earlier you told me about "black washing" my spoked wheels, what do you use? -thanks
  9. VERY nicely done all way round!!
  10. There are no words for how cool this build of yours is. I do have a question. What do you use as a base coat under your Spaz Stixx?
  11. Excellent work on that dash!! VERY nice to see another exotic build!! also love the different than normal color choice for the body! IMO, not too many cars can wear yellow and still look good. Great overall build!!

  15. Nice!! When in the Army, I had a metallic blue 69 dart GTS with white interior and matching tail stripe. was too busy over seas, the rearend seized, and regretfully sold it. some time in the future I will build a model of my 70 Duster 340 wedge.........after the paintbooth
  16. Outstanding job!
  17. VERY NICE! did you use Keith Marks decals?
  18. I'd like to see a 1962 Alvis convertible, Lamborghini 350GTV, 350GT, or 400GT.......And would one of the better brands of models PLEASE do a Lotus Esprit that's worth building!!!!!!!!!! preferably the V8! ive built the RM kit, but I don't have enough headache medication to tackle that one again.
  19. I used tires from a Fujimi Ford GT40 on mine!
  20. THANX EVERYBODY! Tom, the differences between this and the stock Miura are : this one has three intercoolers added, and a supercharger. body differences are : the absence of horizontal "fins" in the door vents, no roof or bonnet vents, slightly redesigned nose vent, and the "SSV" script. thanx for the interest! OH!, and the type and placement of the exterior door handles, as well!
  21. THANX, GUYS!! I appreciate you checking it out!
  22. Thanx, guys! forgot to say that the tires are from a Fujimi Ford GT 40 kit.
  23. Super nice! Love the color. Great use of the background.
  24. This was a slump buster. I took a Tamiya kit of the Morris Mini Cooper and put a Hassagawa Aoshima lift kit on it, turning it into a truck. I also used the Tamiya Renault Alpine dash. There are many scratch built items on this including the GPS and the roll bar. And if this wasn't crazy enough, I added a Jaguar XJ 220 V6! I'm eventually going to scratch build a winch for the front bumper. The idea was to finish it in a week....which I did.
