thats the resto rod kit, had the cleaner in it, wheels are tuner hop up wheels, I think their called tuner x, comes in a red box with a few sets of rotors

been working on this tonight

nothing fancy, just a clean mostly box stock with the exception of rims. duplicolor caymen red and metallic black.

one of these days I'll have to get him to dig out the 32 5 window he did back in the early 90's. This thing is brushed painted with testors red enamel, but to see it you'd swear it was airbrushed or rattle can.

new color, had issues with how the last color came out so I changed it up phil

so my pops stopped by last night and dropped off a box of his old modeling things. inside was this built up, took a bit of cleaning and reattaching some loose pieces but here it is, built around ten years ago. phil

little bit better lighting, I also brought the rear down a bit. phil

got some paint on today, medium silver charcoal, don't know if I like the front end down or up. When down there's about 3 scale inches of clearance under the front bumper. phil

took off the dual carb high rise and stuck it on a 70 monte carlo 454 engine, but I haven't decided what to use it in. I still have to look over the front suspension, I know I can get the tires lower but I'm not sure how far before the a-arms rub, also the back will sit about 1/8" higher, haven't installed the springs yet

been a long time since I touched this one, the original engine was out a diecast but I tossed it in favor of this nice 530ci. I cant decide yet between air cleaners though, and still working out a color idea, but leaning towards the metalspeks smoke gray with a white top. air cleaner 1 air cleaner 2 let me know whats up

thanks for all the input; MikeMc, thats prolly the problem I was dealing with. I usually spray 2-3 coats about five min apart to seal the paint, do my foiling, and then another 2-3 to seal it all. I'm thinking since its so thin I may want to add another 2-3 coats. this one has 2 coats and a meguirs rub down

After watching last nights episode of overhaulin I got an incling to build that ride. Just trying to get an idea of what I'd be looking forward to. phil

Currently I am not setup for airbrushing so all of my painting comes in the form of plastikote and duplicolor rattle paints. Whats my best option for clear in the can? I usually use duplicolor clear but its so thin that it takes a lot of coats. phil
