In the home stretch now, just need to re-clear and polish, then final assembly. I know the roof chrome isn't accurate but I thought the big roof looked better with all that chrome.

I was trying to chop it down without needing to rechrome it, I should have sectioned the center of the sides to retain the caps, but I managed to recess it back enough that with a bit of foil on the ends you wont notice

truly beautiful, clear really did wonders for that color. I did a 62 impala a while back in ford's mocha frost met., just like yours the clear really made the color pop

Still plugging away at it, flash and indoor lighting is messing with the colors. Did the seats in the same blue flake as the top then cleared them, trying to go for the metal flake vinyl look.

couldn't sleep so I shot some color. dupli-color bahama blue, the gray primer made it a little darker than it should have been. now I'm up in the air on the roof, do I go dupli-color silver flake or dark blue flake?

All of these have been tinkered with but not completed gonna be a lowrider, but detailing the 69 with the 66 chassis just started a few weeks ago not happy with the paint so put it back in the box going for a late 70s look plan to restart this one now that I found a resin cowl induction hood to fit the motor plan to build a replica of my dads car from 79-81

I believe he is the same guy from layitlow who used to have resin products, not sure what happened but he kinda just dissapeared

promo I scooped up from toledo last year for 5 bucks, was brown but I based it with dupli-color metalspeks silver and topped with killer cans brand manderine orange candy

Well, here they are, in no particular order of completion.

Got my wheels mocked up, Rep&Min's rims on the kit white walls, the tires that came with the rims were a tad too tall and skinny for my liking.

Next project, 53 Hudson Hornet, no idea on colors yet but I do know that it will have Replica and Miniatures of MD artillery wheels. So far I have cleaned up the mold lines and set the ride height in the rear, had to notch the frame and belly/driveshaft tunnel, not sure if the front will get this low yet though.
