  1. its all good Greg, just a junk part I had laying around, I wanted to see how the color compared to the lid on the can, the shade is right but it doesn't have the satin finish like that lid though.
  2. Yes, mounted in modelhaus deep offset 5 spoke american mag wheels
  3. at todays local club meeting, suspension is finally in place, allthough now I have to figure out the exhaust
  4. Well its been a while hasn't it? Assembled ride height, will have the wheels turned too Painted of all things a ford color, light mocha frost by dupli-color paint has a very metallic aspect to it
  5. I just received my subscription renewal notice. It says my expiration is the 7/11 issue, does anyone know when or if the April issue has gone out yet?
  6. many thanks, I think they set the mood just right myself
  7. came out ###### nice sir, the only thing I didn't enjoy building mine was trying to foil the fender top chrome strips
  8. I decided on a color change, krylon satin burgandy. finally got the texture I was shooting for, its a little rough around the edges but thats the look I want.
  9. That's where I got stuck on my 63. I decided to make it a phantom two door (keeping it a suicide door), but when I cut the door out I realized the interior sits a good 3/16" above the sill plate and cannot find a replacement anywhere, one day I'll get back to it and figure something out.
  10. to the best of my knowledge it started life a kit, built up but unpainted, I swapped engines as the kit engine was literally a blob of glue, and I didn't like the lack of detail on the chassis or the fact that it was a unibody car.
  11. Very nice looking ride. I built a 67 a few years back for my first trip to the nnl nationals in Ohio. I mixed things up a bit by using the frame from a 62 catalina and the engine from a 69 torino cobra and sprayed it duplicolor orange mist. Keep it up I can't wait to see the finished product.
  12. ride height set, bellflowers set, although I may make them a bit longer so they extend past the bumper, not felling the color, supposed to be flat blue but comes out like a gloss that hasn't been cleared. gonna hit up the craft store today to find a better color.
  13. Great pictures as always, I always wondered one thing, is this an invite only show or just the best or the best that come out to it?
  14. looking good, I just mine in a flat blue almost that shade, called periwinkle by krylon
  15. don't know that anyone did that year in resin, your best bet would be to buy another kit for the body, or see if you can track down someone who only used the kit for parts, good luck either way.
  16. Website noted, and I got the heads up on which vette kit to rob the engine from
  17. Need a nice LS2 and a T56 for my next project. Anyone have any idea as to a good kit source?

  20. here's my lineup, see you all friday night
  21. yeah but it wasn't nearly as bad as that 68 impala
  22. On and off, started about four years ago, the put it up after i lost the interior
